Post Reply Comparing Swords

What is the sharpest sword ?

What sword has the most durability?

What is the heaviest sword?

What sword is the hardest?

What sword is the longest?

What sword is the biggest in width?

What sword is the thickest?

Examples of different type of swords: claymores, katanas, chinese swords, korean swords, etc....
(please give a detail description of the sword, some history, and one or two pictures. If you want you can do the vice-versa part of the questions. Also, you don't have to answer every single question. Thank you very much to all who post here!)

Sharpest, Most Durable, and Hardest are not likely to have answers as they pertain to individual blades and not sword types themselves.

I'll post on the others soon enough. I am too sleepy to reply now.

umm... that would be the "Zanbato " wich is an anciant japanese sword that was used to take down both horse and rider at the same time. but it was never realy used because it was to havy for normal men to cary around, much less swing. i have seen a picure of one but i dont recall were and cant seem to find one on the internet.

truthfully i have always wanted one my self and tryed looking for one but people think that, that is just crazy to whant somthing that big. but i dont care what they think. i still wish to get one and grasp it in my hands one day, and laugh at there remarks when i master it.
