What is a bad drama that had potential to be good?

I don't feel like listing mines down since homework supposedly made me slightly retarded right now.

feeling the same, but i'm still functioning, especially when it comes to dramas. i thought that the series Every Night could have been amazing with the plot and perfect chemistry plus superb acting skills to boot, but there wasn't enough character development and transitions through emotions were lacking. Who Are You came close to impressing me with its' light-heartedness, but failed due to the storyline and repetition. The drama Goong went sour near the end, leaving the impression of rushness, but it still became an over-rated hit. Those are the only ones worth mentioning, not neccesarily meaning they're bad, but they could've been Great. oh and also the drama In-Soon is Pretty. It started strong, but fell short, turning dark and dragged out, but with a suprisingly good ending.

NOBUTA WO PRODUCE... it wasn't uberly bad.. the ending just killed it... really, they could have done better... and if the writer/s was/were trying to have a uncliche~ish ending they could have just left it to be ungayish.. like the three of them parting ways..

Angel will love me for you

The book was so amazing...and then the changed the whole plotline and picked horrible actor/actresses and ruined it... why did they have some ugly, obscure Korean guy play the lead instead of Kim Joonhoon? Why did they pick an actress who can't act? Why did the change the whole plot?

Laughing in the Wind / The Proud, Smiling Wanderer / Xiao Ao Jiang Hu
Hated all the leads in all gazillion versions of it...
I like this book almost more than Legend of the Condor Heroes...and this book had potential to be JIn Yong's most popular book...if only they made a good version of it...

1 Litre of tears
I liked the Chinese version better... the Japanese version was sad, but had no point.

1 litre of tears
it had great actors and actresses playing the roles, but i didn't really think they expressed enough emotion, which made the drama seem kinda bland >< it could have been better, but it was only okay

Yup, totally agree with you on this one. The leads are superb thespians. So are many of the supporting casts. Unfortunately they are let down by the weak story & character development. So much so that most of the characters appear inconsequential &/or one dimensional. Such a pity!

I think they all have the potential to do good, with better actors and better scripting. For example, Miss No Good or Hana Kimi for actors, and Love Contract and MG 2 for scripting.

i'll definitely agree! i think miss no good is actually good but the way the script goes especially
when the director is requiring rainie to do an irritating voice which is totally annoying to other people
but now i'm well used to it..although it's really needed for the show but it'll make good if it would be less over-exaggerated.. well i know rainie's a good actress because i've seen all her dramas and i find it
amazing but the problem is the bad script and directing really ruins her acting skills.
