is the first season the whole manga? or is the manga broken up into the three seasons?
or is all the seasons that are out completely based on manga?

I have only watched the first season..

Based on what i watched and read, it's not completely like the manga..

But the characters are based on the manga..

I like the story in the manga better..

The characters in Season 2 and 3 are different from the manga except for Yankumi and her family..

well, that's what I know..

I'm watching Gokusen 2 now..

I think that Gokusen 2 has many scenes that's just like the manga..

Like in the manga when Shin asked for a duel from Yankumi but this time it's Yabuki Hayato..

and when they were framed up..

While watching it, I remember the manga..

guess it's a bit different frm the manga.... every season, yankumi likes a new guy...and every season will have ppl graduating.
