1.Daily, yes

2.Yes,

3.It made me think twice about going around a corner ;). It also practiced my hand-eye coordination, tactical skills, mathematical skills, some parts of my brain got bigger from it.

4.Awesome, the more blood the more fun.

5.All roles have been taken. Especially the 'voilent' ones, killing small children and animals was also part of the fun.

6.Yes, but aggressiveness is not bad. Playing and losing a game of soccer, or not being able to take a big wave also makes me aggressive.

7.Same, maybe even less. Games are still less realistic then movies and especially anime ( i remember watching 'akira' for the first time when I was still a small little boy... it scared the shizz out of me while games like 'doom' where inside my brain on a daily basis even before that... they didnt bother me.) ;).

The following questions are:

1.Have you EVER played a violent game?(most likely to be yes)

2.If yes, has this influence the kind of person you are?

3.If yes, then how?

4.Did you feel that the game(s) showed violence as good or bad?

5.Was the role (of the character) to uphold good values or play a violent/killing or criminal/theft role?

6.Do you think that playing violent games can cause young gamers to be aggressive themselves?Yes or No?

7.Do you think that playing violent games is any WORSE than watching violent TV, Anime or films?

1) Yes
2) No
3) --
4) It's more like it shows violence is fun.
5) Violent killing.
6) Most probably, yes. Young mind can be effected easily by what they perceived.
7) To me, watching and playing is 2 entirely different things. Playing gives much more impact rather than watching.

1.Have you EVER played a violent game?

- Yes!

2.If yes, has this influence the kind of person you are?

- Nope.

3.If yes, then how?

- . . .

4.Did you feel that the game(s) showed violence as good or bad?

- It doesn't me affect for the reason that these games don't even inflict physical violence. It's no different from watching a film or reading a book with violent content.

5.Was the role (of the character) to uphold good vaules or play a violent/killing or criminal/theft role?

- Both. I did play characters on the good side and the bad side.

6.Do you think that playing violent games can cause young gamers to be aggressive themselves?Yes or No?

- Nope. Parents and the adults around them have the most influence on a young mind.

7.Do you think that playing violent games is any WORSE than watching violent TV, Anime or films?

- Nope. I believe TV(not anime) is BULLSHIT! They tell you what to eat, what to buy, what to say, who to follow and shit like that. Games aren't really that fucked up much as what the TV is.

Am i the only one who noticed that it's a girl who asked the question? Anyways, the belief that video games are a source of human violence in the world is a fabricated excuse so that people don't have to blame themselves. The fact is that most violence in the world is due directly to the fact that the population of the world is composed of assholes, morons, and general scum.

yeah if it was'nt video games they blame it on music if no games or music the blame tv/movies its kida sad if you ask me

Sure there are people who mimic games and end up breaking things, but you gotta remember these aren't the smartest of people. If it isn't a video game, it'll be a TV show or a movie, or heck, maybe even a violent book. People never want to acknowledge that its their own fault so they find a scapegoat. There was a story about a kid who drowned himself trying to find "the pineapple under the sea". I admit spongebob isn't the healthiest of shows are you seriously going to think the creators promoted a watery death? At the age of 9 or below its the parents responsibility for making sure this stuff doesn't happen. If your any older and your still trying to play a dangerous stunt you saw on a game, then by god I'll be laughing and spitting on your grave when your funeral rolls around.

I have played many violent games during my time/year as a gamer....

But what thanos369 quoted back to me on what he thinks: At some point parents will have to face the fact as much as the gaming industry has a responisibilty to make wholesome games, they too have to teach their kids right from wrong.

And ichisukoushi: Games are just games, at the end of the day, who you are is who you are, you cant really be influenced by games

Besides nobody else did this kind of forum....So I made it up.
