Manga is a lot better than the anime in most cases

In some cases the anime is incomplete while the Manga goes on

And in some cases the manga is more complete

I do :p.

Anyway:

manga = nearly everything.

Manga is actually on the decline. It's still pretty popular, but comic books are what's coming back (sadly).

in anime's sometimes they take out some important parts
and just skip those scenes

For me, manga is so important because, simply put, it's cheaper than anime. I don't just mean that in terms of cost of a book vs. cost of a DVD, mind you. I'm a quick reader, so manga is less of a TIME investment-I can read in between classes, or while on a long car trip, situations where I may not be able to watch anime. Also, manga's cheaper to make. Thus, in Japan, MORE manga is made than anime. There's a series that could cover just any topic under the sun, anything you wanna read about, any character you'd like to read about. There is undoubtedly a manga for you. Also, there's the whole realm of doujinshi, or fan-made manga not attached to a big publisher. CLAMP actually started here IIRC So there's just SO much material in the realm of manga, I love being able to have so many choices at my fingertips. :] Also, I think there's a wider variety of styles in manga.

Love Hina (and lately Sailor Moon) is perfect proof of that for me.

Well, it may due with the fact that a lot of anime's suck. And, you can read a full manga in less then 10 minutes and learn if it sucks but with a anime.. man, you got to sit there and watch it.

When naruto started to suck, i gave up on it. When i went back to, i went back to the manga only because.. the manga's are usually much better!

Thats the other thing that's true I guess, manga's don't usually have fillers.

Yup. Its kind of annoying to be dedicated to an anime to suddenly find out that for a couple months, all we're going to be seeing is stuff not related to the real story. With Bleach, it was overly annoying.

Manga is both singular and plural, so it can't be used as manga's. The same with anime, it is both singular and plural, so it can't be used as anime's either.

Ex.: I have finished watching 3 anime this month and have quite enjoyed them. I used to read 5 manga series at once.
This is how they are to be used, so please use them correctly.

Manga isn't as censored and it doesn't have many limits. Looking at Gantz and Dorohedoro. I think only a few manga make it into the public as anime. But there are so many more manga out there. So many possibilities. Different worlds to experience.

Last time I checked Manga wasn't that popular.

Lol where did you check, your local grocery store? >.<

Manga is more popular than American comics were back in the day. Go to the Comiket or Comicon in Japan some day, and you'll see how enormous the manga industry is :3

it seems like, manga has become more popular, because usually it shows more then what the animation shows, also it is sad to say, some people prefer reading manga than watching anime, because it is not as censored as anime is, also manga is much further than animes. the episodes stretch more, people that watch anime want to know what happens next, so they get onto the manga and then they just keep wanting to know whats going to happen, then afterwords no one is really watching much anime but reading the manga form of it.

That's like saying why are book and comics so popular. It's because it has a story inside them and people want to read them. Why else?
