Actually ur not required to say the pledge. they say its ur right in the constitution to choose to say it or not to say it, Freedom of religeon is also in there but that gets re-written whenever ppl get mad XD and why can they send atheist views but none that are religios?

Your in a tight spot, but... yeah you should try to tell someone ><, not the principal. Nobody in the school. Tell the school board or w/e. >< Stay anonymous ... god that is disturbing. It's ok if he was cracking jokes but.. that guy is a pervert. I'm not gonna get religion much into this but, maybe he says he's catholic or w/e, but he was BORN a catholic and doesn't give a damn about it? He just goes, to say he did.

Eeeer.... but... try to investigate more.. See if there is (dramatically) this emo chick/guy who secretly has sex with the teacher? And if he is fired they'll commit suicide (Pedophilia is wrong but is it worth the "victim" 's life?) (Sounds screwed up but it does happen, rarely, but 'rare' things happen) Drama drama... drama comes with mostly everything. Yeah ><, my example was extreme but.. :(... Yeah try to see if somehow it'll do more harm than good.

Anyways besides the religion part (I don't know how it had much to deal with the subject), it was actually a good post and not a 'My teacher is a perv. He is sick. Help', type of post. I liked it :).

as i read each paragraph i get grossed out even more...lolz!

i basically attended sex ed the same age as u did...@16...at that time i was a shy and timid girl and during the short video showing intercourse i was speechless...lolz!

but the thing is i attended an all girls college so i can't really sympathize on what its like doing the class as mixed.

i think ur teacher is way out of line....i don't consider him volunteering personal information about his own sx life with his wife or by himself as anything fun or exciting to be included in the classroom.

and him saying that he's aroused while teaching is sooo gross...

why don't someone lodge a complaint to the teaching association in ur area.... or maybe ask for everyone's signature to petition the teacher to stop being a paedophile and just do his class neutrally with no comments about him. or give the petition to the principal to stop him giving more disgusting lectures...

im not saying sex ed is wrong and should be abolished...oh no...i think its quite helpful to have it in class than with the parents....imagine the red faces!

at least sex ed class 4 me was short and sweet...watch the intercourse cartoon video which was cute and funny... and then the teacher asked us some question and we asked her our questions....im thinking that this is how it should be. no more, no less.

As a parent, I would say this teacher has gone way too far, and I know that I am a lot more liberal than most. If any of the parents of the class hear about it, I am sure there would be a stream of angry parents phoning and visiting the school and quite rightly demanding an investigation. I realise that no-one wants to be the first to complain to their parents, because then it would be embarrassing for that person with everyone knowing that they had told. Get a group of your friends who feel the same way and all agree to tell your parents at the same time, or all of you go to the principal or school counsellor together. I know it's unfair but a complaint from an adult is often taken more seriously. The most worrying bit is when he said that he gets aroused when teaching. Maybe consider discretely taping his next class as evidence. This is not the way to teach teenagers about sex.

seraph did you know hes catholic? thats what they believe and its bullshit i know but just keep soldiering on and eventually youll never see him again.catholics can be fucktards and sexists but very few of them actually are.you need to go tell your principal that he is offensive and ask that person to talk to the perv.hell maybe he'll get fired.as much as i hate talking to solve problems, this is the right thing to do. if it were me, since im a hothead, i might have either hurt him or killed him. but dont do that. only i can get away with that kind of bullshit lol

That’s what I thought at first too, but he’s a protestant. I think a Mormon or a Baptist. But I agree with you. That’s crap. Women were not made to serve men, and at no point does the bible say they were! People just try to use God to make their controversial prejudices seem more acceptable or to act like they are being persecuted for doing good.

i don't know where your from but.... in american teachers aren't pose to preach any religion..

I am in America. That's what is so bothersome about all this! (or one of the things.)

^ yeah i always wonder about that, they put their god's name in the pledge and the anthem yet they say u can teach it. kind of contradicting dont yah think, and its required to pledge

Not at all. I say the pledge because I’m a bit of a patriot, but it is not required. Also, our Gods name is Yahweh. It’s Greek and translates loosely to “I am who I am.” (Actually it may be Latin, but I haven’t studied that subject for a while, and I know that the manuscripts from which we translated our modern English bibles were written in a Greek tongue.)
Christians refer to God as God, but he doesn’t have a name really. At least not one that he has given us. (Remember I speak for myself and no one else. I just know how this is for a non-denomination Christian. Some various sects of the Christian faith have differing ideas on this.) This being said we aren’t making anyone say anything in the name of our God. That one nation under God thing can mean anything from One Nation under Shiva to One Nation under Zeus.

However, I do think it’s a bit unfair to Atheists. Also, it is, Atheism being considered, a bit hypocritical.

Also:

Pedophilia-
sexual desire for children: sexual desire felt by an adult for children, or the crime of sex with a child

Encarta ® World English Dictionary © & (P) 1998-2004 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

Although I do think that there is difference between sexual fantasies toward prepubescent children and those who are already mostly or completely matured in a physical way pedophilia is pedophilia. Rather the child is 16 or 10. Until the body and mind are 100% matured its still pedophilia. Emotional maturity is also another very important aspect, but some people (most of my family) seem to be like overly dramatic teenage martyrs until they die so…

Wow, most of what he's doing is completely out of line.
I would be complaining `till kingdom come about all of this if it were me.

How funny is it when a teacher puts you on the spot and starts asking you personal questions about your sex life in front of a mass of people? I wasn’t amused! There’s a girl in that class that I’ve been crushing on for years, and he had to go and do something like that to me in front of her! GAA!

Call me tight up, but I think he goes too far. In some cases I think people should be a little tight. You told me to stop being so tight, but that’s something that can go both ways. Maybe I am too uptight, I’ll give you that. But, then again, maybe your too loose?

i think ur teacher is abusing all of u!!! i think u can sent him 2 jail by doing that. that's all i know i don't know if it's true. but if that happens to me i will go in front of the class and punch him in the face even if i got suspended or i will and call the school board and tell them what he was doing. that's all!!

btw when i read ur story it made me pissed off because ur teacher is changing the Christian beliefs

well if u really have a problem then say something to your parents or the principal...or to the teacher himself?? but if this is all b/c of him doing that in front of ur crush then, its not that big a deal if ur crush acts stank over that then shes not worth ur time, i wouldnt think ill of a guy if that happened if anything thatd make me notice him, you prob shouldve been comical about it instead of getting mad? just y thought

My parents say just to grin and bear it. They don't want to go through the hassel. The principle is his buddy so...

But eh, I did make it comical. I always turn those things back on him. Hints I told him to bend over... But, when I do that, I get kicked out. Then my grades suffer.

Sorry I didn't read the bit about where you had already told your parents before I made the post suggesting that you tell them. I don't know where you live, but this guy (I don't want to call him a teacher) has broken at least 2 Australian laws, and the same probably applies in whichever country you are in. Please consider my suggestion of taping his class and approaching the school counsellor together with your friends. He needs to be stopped. By getting kicked out of class, you are playing right into his hands. The reason your parents don't want to complain is probably that they feel it will make things worse for you if you are the whistle-blower. I am very concerned for you and your classmates.

I can see how you're getting upset over this. I would be humiliated if I were to be called up and do something awkward. I would agree with whoever said to tell another administrator in your school.

And telling someone what they should believe isn't right at all. We all have our own choices on what to do with our lives and the consequences for ourselves to bare.

Then again, he could be helping people become more open and comfortable with their sexuality?...in a direct way

o__o Its one thing to have the normal sex ed in school, where the teacher tells the class about sexual functions of the human body and i don t think its wrong for a guy to know about tampons and pads, but i think your teacher got way out of line when he started putting in details about his personal life. Saying that he got aroused during class is just sick and he should be fired because of that! Also the religion thing is wrong in my opinion.

You should probably tell your principle even though you say they are buddies, its the principle's job to handle these kinds of things
