Ahh, i had a good laugh out of that, i just skipped my sex ed classes after the first one(a total of 6 classes!), i just looked everything up over the net, and no i don´t mean porn (-.-). I do believe that your teacher is overstepping his teacher-student relationship and you should bring it to your schools attention, making a petition and then threatening with the police always helps if they refuse to do anything. Also you can speak about it to your parents and the likes. Although i really wonder what kind of school brings up sex ed at the age of 16? We had it like when we were 13 or so(i already knew everything when i was 10 so it was boring and looked up everything on the net as stated before).

Anyway having a Christian teach you Sex Ed would certainly make me give stomach cramps.

Hope you get out of that sticky situation alive.

Lol.

Anyway…

People, just so you know, this thread was to discuss the guy. Not on how to take care of him. I'm not whining, its about hearing peoples on opinions on the subject. I was just using my real life as an example... I’m sure if I went far enough I could get the guy fired if I wanted too. (Which I may or may not do, depending on my end grade! :p, no depending on how he acts in the future.)

So, thank you very much for your concern, but I have quite enough recommendations on how to get him removed from the school already. (The camera one is quite a good idea. I think I’ll do just that if I do decide to get him fired.)

Respectfully, Seraph!

Reminds me of an old psych professor i had several years ago during my first attempt at college, just the complete oppositte end of the spectrum.

Anytime the guy got a chance to make sexual references to small children he did. ANYTIME. Like once or twice a week, every week, over the course of the semester, usually with the other days filled with fetish references. And I don't mean just "minors" I mean like 6-8 year old kids. Now I'm a pretty open minded fellow, but this guy was a straight up pedo. He seemed to think the PSY 101 was "sexual abnormalities and fetishes 101"

Okay, well, I’m in High school so I’ve taken sex ed before. But, our health teacher is a total pervert so he decided that the main focus of health class will be sex ed.

He’s a sexist pig. Actually announced to the class that woman are, “according to the bible” made to serve men. (Which is a total manipulation of what the bible -really- says. Anyone who’s studied the Christians holy book knows that the bible says a man is meant to serve his wife, and a woman her husband.) He also enjoys to tell us about his personal and intimate relationships with his wife; moreover, he’s made sure we know -everything- about him. From when he first “touched himself” to his personal fetishes. The guy should be fired, especially sense he announced to the class (of mixed sex I might add) that he “Sometimes gets aroused while teaching.” He actually used more…vivid terminology, but I would hope to keep this thread from getting as vulgar as he does.

Anyway, this guy has taken the chance not only to satisfy his own pedophile fantasies but also to try and teach us his views -are- right. I’m a Christian, so I support abstinence until after marriage. Its my personal belief on the matter. But this guy is teaching it at school! I looked it up online and apparently this is a big thing! Why in the world should a school be allowed to teach kids that abstinence is right? I mean, that’s a matter of religious beliefs isn’t it? I understand teaching that it is safe, but he’s gone out and said, “It’s how you should be!” People like this abuse their position as a mentor to young children and place their personal beliefs into our youths!

Apparently there are also a few schools that actually oppose abstinence. They teach children that they should, “experiment with their bodies.” As I said I’m very far from this belief, but rather or not I agree with it I don’t think people should teach things like that. Shouldn’t sex ed be taught from a neutral point of view? I think we need to be educated about it but come on!

Then the next thing. Is it just me or are some of these schools that support abstinence exaggerating the risk of getting STDs. I know they are becoming more and more common, however my sex ed teacher recently said something that amounted to “If you have sex you are going to get STDs beyond a shadow of a doubt.”

Also, he had a girl in the class go get a tampon and bring it to me. He then asked me to stand up in front of the class, most of which are females, and “demonstrate how to use it.” (I told him to bend over so I could. Got kicked out for a while on that one.) That was humiliating. Should teachers be allowed to do things like that? The girl was very…open with sexuality so she was fine, but I’m completely shy. I’m not comfortable learning about my body, much less the feminine hygiene necessities of some chick’s body! Most of all I don't like being brought up to the front of a class and handed something that I have no idea how to use. (Anyway, should't he be teaching me things I need to know? Why in the world would I need to know how to use something like that!? I'm a dude!)

Lastly he went in talking about this T birth control thing. According to him its an “automatic abortion birth control system.” He said he was going to go over his beliefs on it, but then a girl stood up and said, “I’m on that!” and so he shut up.

Am I the only one who thinks this wanna-be evangelist, sexist, pedophile needs to be fired and kept away from children? I say register him as a sex offender. Something else, I really hate guys like that. They give Christians a bad name. Who the heck are they to go around telling people what’s right and wrong? Educating young children to believe things that their parents may want to raise them against!

In any case I think sex ed should be something parents teach their children. Its necessary to be taught, but I don’t think a mixed sex classroom is the best place to teach it. I would absolutely die if a woman came in to teach me about my body! I can’t imagine how humiliated some of the shyer girls in our class feel about this pervert! Especially when he starts asking them to explain to the class how often they have to use tampons, pads, ext. Am I alone here?

What do you all think?

OMG that's aweful. That teacher really needs to be fired. You could probably sue him for sexual harassment. That is not a good sex ed class.

The hell?

Report to the police
?????
Profit

How would you even demonstrate it?

Not at all. I say the pledge because I’m a bit of a patriot, but it is not required. Also, our Gods name is Yahweh. It’s Greek and translates loosely to “I am who I am.” (Actually it may be Latin, but I haven’t studied that subject for a while, and I know that the manuscripts from which we translated our modern English bibles were written in a Greek tongue.)

It’s Hebrew, in Latin it (יהוה/YHWH) was misread as Iehouah and so that became the name of god to Christians for a while. Saying God is not taking the lord’s name in vain, and it’s rather hard to use YHWH as a curse.

Edit: Oh old thread, hows it going now?
