Sung Yu Ri (born March 3, 1981) was the youngest member of the disbanded Korean pop group Fin.K.L along with Lee Hyori, Ock Joo Hyun and Lee Jin. Known as the "cute one" in the group, she has always been one of the most popular Korean stars, who is known for her beauty as well as her reputation for being a genuinely friendly person.

Sung has also made a name for herself as an actress, first appearing in the miniseries "Bad Girls". Although it was not very successful, she followed it up with the popular series "Thousand Years Of Love" in which she portrayed both a current woman and an ancient princess. The popularity of the drama helped her to win an award for her work as a "Best New Actress". In addition to her dramatic work, she has also co-hosted an entertainment show in 2004 and has been a catalog model for various companies. Although she briefly returned to music for the Fin.K.L digital single in late 2005, she has returned to acting. In 2006 she played the lead role in two dramas, One Fine Day and Snow Queen in which she won high praises and awards for.

Sung, like all of her Fin.K.L group members, has left DSPent; she is now with SidusHQ, the same company representing actress Song Hye Gyo, suggesting a choice of a permanent acting career.

The daughter of a Christian pastor, she last attended Kyung Hee University.

Yes, I'm a Sung Yuri fan if you haven't figured it out by my avatar. I've liked her ever since the Fin K.L days and it's great to see a star's growth from a cute face in a girl group to one of the popular leading actresses in Korean dramas. I'm hoping for a transition to include movies too. X fingers.

lol I shall join u in being a fan Hahahhaa...me too, I find her very amazing...loved her in Snow queen/one fine day...she was so mean in snow queen but it made me love her character even more...too bad about the ending...as for one fine day...still watching it in progress she's awesome ^O^

well i think she is cute but not really a fan of hers. 1st saw her in the drama prince's 1st love and i think she looked wonderful in that drama.

didnt really liked her the first time i saw her in a snow queen press conference. it's when her hair was pulled back. i dunno, somehow it makes her cheekbone look huge. i initially searched for d video bcoz of a friend who is an avid fan of yuri, but after that i said 'nah.. i prefer taehee'

but then snow queen was aired. i had no desire to watch it, but some other frens kept telling me how great the drama is. so i tuned in while it's in episode 12 or something. i saw yuri with her hair down. it was a TOTALLY different face than before... i kept on watching the drama eventho i cant understand the plot coz i want to keep watching at yuri.

so then i fell in love with the drama and with her as well. and i still think she looks best with her hair down. i prefer the cute Kim Bo-Ra rather than the pompous one.

come to think of it, the story with eunhye is the same as well. didnt like her in goong, but fell in love with her in Coffee Prince...

I first saw her in Prince's First Love.I thought she was quite cute back then but I didn't like how she kept raising her eyebrows when she talk in that drama.

Years later I saw her in Snow Queen and that has reignited my interest in her.
I love her character eventhough she's arrogant.She's just VERY CUTE !

i thought these were cute pics of her, they are pretty common though..and she's actually pretty tall looking in that drama..i was pretty surprised..i think she is around 5'6" or so..not sure

I used to listen to her all the time when she was in Finkl. Even though Hyo Lee is my favorite Yuri looks so cute in those headphones! (when you watch the Finkle Pride MV). Damn. I need to get another korean girlfiend.

She is very cute! I've only seen her in One Fine Day and Snow Queen playing very sad role. Hope she tries comedy so we can see her funny humorous side!

You should check her out in the drama Thousand Years of Love in which she won an award for acting. It's one of her earlier roles but I really enjoyed it other than So Ji Sup's hair.

She plays the last princess of the Baekjae Kingdom who somehow is transported to the modern world 1300+ years into the future. Imagine the rude awakening she experiences trying to adjust to life in modern day Seoul lol.

My fave is The Snow Queen!
