Interracial relationships are pretty hard to promote though. You'll get a lot of negative effects that causes elitism among "pure breds." There will be even more social stratification with mixed breeds as some families begin to pride themselves in their own so called purity. It sounds good, but I believe the outcome may turn out the wrong way.

To tell you the truth, I think if we just leave it alone things will just sort themselves out. Forcing people to integrate or blatant public announcements are irritating to people. I don't want to be forced to switch to a new place or have standards shoved to me. If we let things happen more naturally, then it may work out more favorably.

Darwinism hasn't really changed in my view at all. The same idea is supported with just more evidence. Anyway I say sorry a lot because I'm an ass to a lot of people so I need to make up for that somehow. You should see my post in the suggestions area to see what I mean.

For everyone to go into interracial relationships… Dude…Alright, whatever…

Anywho, I’m afraid we will just have to agree to disagree on this one, Jam. But, whatever. It was a fun little debate, though not 100% related to the thread itself… *Shrug.* Well, you’re fine to me. Apologize to the people you treat badly, not the ones you treat kindly. Eh?

I think lots of people are rascist on the inside due t exposure to the media and other people. Or, it might just happen to be inherited. Who knows? I don't think it can be stopped among the billions of people in the world, but it would help if you didn't say rascist things or steoeotype. A kid at my school called me poor since I was half-Chinese. He called himself rich. But, I go to the same school as he is, which costs about $12000 a year or so.

i don't care much what people think about me i just like it if there don't have any opion at all...because weather is good or bad..who care aslong you know who you or and be proude of it..but i believe that ending this may not be any easy way out because freedom is freedom and there still have the right to hat a person....if you know what i mean trying to pit it out isn't easy untill you...stop the law of making freedom right...

i don't think it's really possible to put an end to prejudice because it's someone's opinion and beliefs. it would nearly impossible, but i say anyone who hates me for my race should just drop dead

Racism is a concern to me because some groups seem to get it more than others. If people are going to be racist, at least do it equally and know the facts. But the reality is, you can't change people since we are all naturally sinful. That's why war will go on as long as we exist.

Trying to eliminate prejudice is much like trying to suppress free thought. People will not always agree as depicted in this thread. The results of prejudice are tough but for the most part are not things you cannot over come. I think people are far too concerned with political correctness these days and it has caused a vast amount of oversensitivity in regard to prejudice.

Either people make sure political correctness applies to everyone, or just stop it completely. There's no point if people care about one group more than others. That's worse than prejudice itself.

If you ask me, where ever the is humanity there is prejudice. It is human nature to hate, compete, and to want everything. Think of it as a game and there are numberous players or "races" that compete. You have Asians, Mexicans, Africans, Caucasions, Germans, Russians, Ect. The world is competing for dominance(competition). When ever your compete for something you kinda have a tendency to beat everyone anyway possible. Of course people a race of humans are going to hate another race just becasue they think their better then they are. Every race has its "tweaks" to make is better then another. Not to be races but Asians do tend to do work harder in school than say a African-american, but African-americans do alot better in basketball then Asians. I say if the world is going to be prejudice about which race does better in school or basketball or soccor then just let it run it's course. Saying prejudice things is better than doing prejudice things...*cough* *HOLOCAUST* *cough*! As for me i don't really care because if you pick at it then it will get worse.

I can't say I agree. Asians that work harder is due to their environment. If a non Asian was raised with the same values, they would work just as hard. The same would apply to a basketball player and so on.

Doesn't saying prejudice things lead towards doing prejudice things? Unless I have my history vastly mistaken then I'm pretty sure Hitler preached on his beliefs and even wrote a book about them before actually acting them out. Prejudice is something that is almost always inherited through verbal re-enforcement from someone who has influence.

^ Hopchow is completely right. Hitler started writing essays on his ideals in prison way before he came to power and enacted them. Prejudice isn't almost always inherited through verbal signals though. I think a significant amount is attributed to visual signals as well. The difference in color of skin automatically registers as something different than your own. Before you have verbal reenforcement, you need some sort of visual recognition in my view at least.

The stereotype really doesn't work out at all either so that wasn't a really good example.

^ There has to be some reason why you believe different is bad though. That is passed along through personal and general opinions.

v I don't know that I believe that kids being picky eaters isn't influenced by their surroundings as well.

Well that could be a natural intuition for some people. You can relate it to picky eaters in kids. If it's something new and unseen, then they don't want to try it. I'm not saying it's the case with everyone, but a lot of people would probably think like this.
