I like dubs.
I prefer some anime dubbed and some anime not.

Only anime i accept as dubbed is probably Inuyasha. After all, i did watch all the episodes in dub so i got used to it. And the only one other ones i'd actually tolerate are the ones they show on tv which is Naruto and Bleach.

Seriously. This reason is so laughable that it makes me sore.

If you really expect me to take a blanket statement like that very seriously, then you're talking to the wrong person. What I would say is:

NOT. ALL. ENGLISH. DUBS. ARE. BAD. Yes, there are some which aren't great, but today dubs are much better than they were 20 years ago. Of course which dub is good or bad depends on the viewer, but to say that all of them are inferior is not only false, but just plain laughable, period. I consider myself a fair judge of quality, and I've seen mostly great dubs in my time. On occasion I've come across the occasional clunker, but does that mean I hate the dubs or the people behind it? Of course not. What point is there in doing so? It's COUNTERPRODUCTIVE. I want to have fun with my fandom, not lord over everyone.

i love these 1 line statements from people. just say "i don't like dubs just because i don't". be honest instead of making up a reason.

I think it depends on which one you watch first. If I watch the anime with Eng. subtitles first, and then check out the dub, I think the dub sounds awfully fake. If I watched the dub first, then that will sound normal for me and the Japanese will sound weird, if that makes sense =P

I wouldn't say English dubs are bad, but it's little awkward to watch when the setting is Japanese and the actors are forced to pronounce Japanese names when they clearly have no idea how to. Some how, it seems more authentic in Japanese, but that's just me. Although, saying that, I don't mind watching InuYasha in English. It's the first anime I got into, and I watched it in English first, so I guess I'm just used to it.

Most dubs are ok - some are really bad. If I am tired and want to run away from mental issues, I prefer dubs. Still, you do lose emotion of the moment like the end of Death Note

I like both the same way I never really watched an anime that had a bad English cast well with the exception Of Clannad which is why I only have to sub version but other than that I see no problem with dubs. I prefer dubs over sub but I still have no problems with sub.
