the honda fit is the car according to forbes with the highest percentage of women drivers. it was like 80.46% woman drivers, but thata's if forbes is correct. The car with the percentage for women to drive least in is a maybach, in which 95% of the drivers are male, according to forbes.

This is a question that really depends on your personality, but here's what i've been recommending to girls in my area:

2003-2006 mitsubishi Evolution (not Lancer, not lancer ES, not lancer OZ, but EVOLUTION)

Reasons:

1. Safety.
- great all-around window view so less chance of bigger blind spots
- all-wheel-drive means better control of the car when some bitch cuts you off or a pothole suddenly appears.
- comfortable reclinable seats made by RECARO, one of the higher-end japanese racing and luxury seat companies.
- HID headlights (on some models) means better visibility, but with properly-sized projectors so you aren't blinding people to where they're flashing high beams at you.

2. Power.
- 300 horsepower from a 4-cylinder turbo. You get great gas mileage on them in my opinion because you aren't flooring the gas pedal to get up mild-grade hills and inclines. An economic car is fine on gas until you get up a hill... then you have to stomp and waste a ton of gas just to keep at-speed. Then that uses up a ton of gas. So really, a good balance of mpg with power is the best, and i believe the Evo is one of the best at that balance.

3. Interior.
- The car was built mainly for rally, so it's made for driver comfort without major distractions. If you want a better radio, you can change it out easily. Gauges are easy to read and it's a very comfortable 5-seater with very good cargo space.

4. Exterior.
- No matter how many posers there are trying to make their regular lancer or eclipse LOOK like an evo, you still can't copy them. They're compact but very roomy, are agressive in style yet subtle, and if you don't like the rear wing you can remove it and sell the thing for a good $200-$300 on ebay.

5. Modability.
- Not happy with the looks? tons of companies have everything from lip kits to full body upgrades to make your car unique.
- Want better gas mileage and performance? tons of aftermarket companies like SUN AUTO offer kits to make your car get better mileage and be more eco friendly while companies like TRUST, HKS, Monster, and Kansai Service offer upgrades to get your car faster than the next guy with his or her evo.
- Ride isn't comfortable? You can upgrade the coilover suspension to adjust the ride height, response times, everything.

6. Price.
- 2003 evo's can be had in some places at as little as $13,000, and if you prefer the 2005 and 2006 models, they're still in the low to mid 20's.

As for color, I personally like the Evolutions in Graphite Grey or Aspen White. low profile colors means less posers trying to street race you and less cops pulling you over. =3

Lol I agree with ya that Evos are nice cars for girls. But you gota factor in a couple things. Insurance rates in california for Evo's are one of the highest because kids keep crashing them. Also chances are a girl will crash it into a pole, fire hydrant, another car, or anything else stationary.

In the end it all depends on the girl's tastes. This is the 21st century, its not strange to see women driving trucks, buses, huge SUVs or even race cars anymore.

If you're talking about the sterotypical "cute" girl. The one who still goes to Hello Kitty! at the age of 27. Then I'd probably recommend the Volkswagen Bug, the Mini-Cooper or the Honda Fit.

If you're talking about the girl who's a bit of a tomboy, or if you're talking about a girl that can drive better than most guys. Then I'd recommend something with a little more kick to it. That would mean pretty much any Subaru, or the Nissan Skyline or better yet the BMW M5.

Lastly, this is for the sophisticated mama....the girl who rubs shoulders with the big boys. The girl who's "The Boss". I'd recommend the Mercedes SLK (a powerful car and a sexy girl make one heck of a combo. LOL) or the BMW 7 series
