Err..it's quite obvious that if it's Amuto in the anime,it's Amuto in the manga. Basically the story is very similar except that the anime has too many spoilers. So,the anime would be longer than the manga.
Basically I think it's Amuto.It should be because of the lock and key or the majority of fans. They wouldn't end it until most of the fans are completely happy. It should be Amuto or no couple ending AT ALL.

Ikuto, Ikuto, Ikuto! In chapter 48, Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Amu realized that she is in love with Ikuto. So now that their feelings are mutual, I'm pretty sure that it'll be Amuto in the end. |

na i watched the anime and she ends up with Tadase in that so far.. I Need to find the latest chapter in the manga though.. lolz her feelings are confusing me now cuz i know she likes them both

Darn i think its gonna be Ikuto after all in the manga DX... oh well both guys suite her different personalities well im ok with either one xD either Amuto or TadAmu... their both great guys ♥ uhh its stressing me out... and I knew it Tsukasa was Tadase from the future >.>

Amu ends up with neither Ikuto nor Tadase... ): The manga ends before they can. Although, she realizes she doesn't really love Tadase but instead she loves Ikuto, but after seeing Ikuto one last time she decides she can't ever see him again.
I know. Freaking horrible way to end a manga.

It's not the end! There is Shugo Chara! Encore! coming out too! And when Amu said that, I think she meant that she wasn't ready to see him at that time. I think that in Encore, she will have matured more and they can officially be a couple. I mean, can't we at least be happy that she's in love with Ikuto now?

From what I heard, Shugo Chara! Encore! is just going to be a bunch of side-stories. I'm not sure rather they are refering to side stories from the past, or from the future.
Yet, I am glad that she somewhat chose Ikuto over Tadase; and yeah, I hope that in Encore! Ikuto and Amu do become a couple.

she ends up with ikuto if im not wrong... if u had read the manga clearly, it stated that tadase kind-of let her go or something like that... most of u would have thought that the manga is totally different from the anime itself but i would like to point out something, the manga reveals more of the future with the amu going with dia on a ride to time to find her charas and saw ikuto too!! no offence as it is just my opinion. sorry if u dont like my opinion. its just a theory. and i totally agree with AngelAmutox, dont be offended tadamu fans, but i can say that its very obvious because if the manga ends with amu and ikuto together, the anime would also have the same ending. it will be confusing if there are 2 different endings and im sure that there has to be an ending.
