Zoids. Are they plausable?
Posted 9/28/08 , edited 9/28/08
hey guys. wat do you think? is it possible to make a zoid? im not talking about the sheilds, the personality of the zoids or anything like that. I'm talking about a normal liger with armour and a mini-gun on top or something.

(also , if this is a double just report it or something cause i couldnt find another poll like this.)

a hell lot more realistic than gundams i suppose. I mean concept wise they would be the same, but designing a robot after a tiger, one of natures fiercest predators, compared to a human, one of natures more physically weak fighters is well.... ya know

absolutely plausible, two years ago a man in japan build a 6 meter tall robot like the ones in mech warrior games, that shoot ruber bullets, there was a big announcement in the news just google it and you will find it, besides small looking animal robots have already been build and their software allows them to obey some commands, for a zoid all it takes is to take that concept and refine it.

Plausible, maybe
having any real use, not at all

it would be to big and heavy to have any speed.
its to overly complex to be cost efficient
and entirely unpractical.
modern tanks and jets are better fitted to do the same job
