MIROTIC, the title song of the 4th album, became the talk of the town as Remee/Troelsen, the team of composer for ‘Eat You Up’, BoA’s debut song in America participated in creating the song, and the hit composer, Young-Jin Yoo, arranged the song.
This is a reverse beat dance track where the elegant melody and addictive refrain are impressive. Also, The dreamlike but strong vocal of TVXQI in ‘MIROTIC’ makes the perfect harmony with the straight lyric that sounds as if it is a spell to control the woman they were struck at first glance like ‘You will give yourself up to me, you will be mad about me, you are the slave of my love’ that it makes the song more interesting.

Gist of the news go that on the morning of September 27, when the new 4th album MIROTIC packages were already sent to music stores in Korea nationwide, there was already massive lines of fans waiting to buy a copy of the album. Some stores (eg. Kyobo Book Center) count to more than a hundred fans lining up this morning to buy a copy, garnering a lot of attention from people around.

Fans were extremely excited when TVXQ / DBSK had their long awaited comeback performance on SBS Inkigayo, but during the performances the fans seemed somewhat subdued. That wasn't the case when TVXQ performed on MNet Countdown today. TVXQ performed the same three songs: Hey!, MIROTIC, and Love in the Ice but this time you could barely hear TVXQ as the fans were cheering so loud.

KOREAN FANS ARE USING THE "SILENT-LISTENING METHOD"

A chinese website by the name of Baidu Bar said that recently Korean fans are using the "silent-listening" method. They said Korean Cassiopeia had come up with the cheering for Mirotic a long long time ago but after the Mini Concert 2 different opinions surfaced: one is continue with the loud cheering while they sing, the other one is to use the "silent-listening" method like Japanese fans.

A lot of people agreed with the second opinion. Because DBSK said that this album is aimed for the public, if they keep cheering loudly while the boys sing the atmosphere will be good but it will have bad effect on other viewers.

After that Cassiopeia went and ask for an opinion from the boys themselves. The answer they received was that they hope the fans will listen to their performance silently. Because of that Korean fans have decided to follow the silent-listening method from then on.

The super loud cheering you heard from Mnet was because a lot of fans lost control that day (maybe because of the unexpected fan meeting??) and they said it really had bad effects.

Dong Bang Shin Ki wins their #1 position on Mnet M!Countdown just 13 days into their comeback.

They won the #1 position on M!Countdown on 9th October, in Seoul Olympics Stadium, with the song ‘MIROTIC’.

This is especially a great accomplishment since it is just 1 week after their comeback special on the show.

Upon hearing the results to the ranking charts, Dong Bang Shin Ki members expressed, “We are really shocked. It took just 1 year and 7 months to prepare this album, and there are so many people who have helped us with the album. Father Lee Soo Man, we kept the promise.”

TVXQ was on Ten Ten Club on the 13th on SBS FM, and revealed that they were going to release a new Japanese single again. The DJ said enthusiastically, "Last year when I was at a bath spring in Japan I saw a huge TVXQ poster."

Jaejoong said laughingly, "The posters were in the center-most bath spring in the city, and we went to see them!" He also remembered they took pictures of the posters with their phones.

Their fourth album has broken 20K sales.
TVXQ's fourth album "Mirotic" has sold over 20K copies after only two weeks of release, and on the 13th their total sales amounted to 208345 copies. These two years, artists such as Big Bang (sold 132000 copies), Brown Eyed Girls (112000) copies, etc. have been under the curse of "not being able to sell more than 150,000 copies." Each year, TVXQ's sales rankings are higher than before. According to charts, their first single in 2004 "Miduhyo," sold 242580 copies, ranking eighth. Their second album, "Rising Sun,' sold 222472 copies in 2005, ranking fourth, and their third album "O. Jung. Ban. Hap" in 2006 sold 349317 copies, ranking first. TVXQ's third album sold the most copies within Korea in 2006. Mirotic” trumps “Nobody” at M! Countdown



Judging from the hot debate raging before the actual performances, this M! Countdown was expected to be explosive. The Wonder Girls took to the stage in shimmery-pink flapper dresses and belting out the tune that’s been drummed into our heads since their comeback. They came out quite strong, but still lacked the dynamite and lost out to a highly energetic Dong Bang Shin Ki in the end.

It was a pity the girls fell behind first-place by a mere 18 votes.

Popular group Dong Bang Shin Ki new album has not only proves itself in Korea and Japan but also in Taiwan.

Their 4th album ‘MIROTIC’ was released in Taiwan on the 17th, and in one week’s time, the album went up to #1 positions on various popular music chartslike G Music Chart, Vibe music and CC Record etc.

The album was #1 for the 3rd week of October (17th - 23rd Oct) on GMusic Asian album chart, the album sales also hit the record high of 57.98% in contributing to the total album sales change. And for Vibe music chart, they were also #1 on the same week with contribution album sales of 50.95%.

Not only also, the title song to the album, ‘MIROTIC’ was #1 on Taiwanese radio ‘Hito FM’ music chart for ther period of 13th to 19th October. The criteria for judgement on the chart stands 50% for listeners’ and internet poll and 50% on the album sales.

Yunho, leader of idol group TVXQ, was very touched by the act of kindness his fans did under his name.

TVXQ stood on their comeback stage on the 28th of September on Inkigayo. On this day, they performed Mirotic, Hey!, and Love in the Ice.

After the performances, Yunho came to the resting lounge and received his special gift from fans. This gift was 20,000,000 won donated under his name to a chidren's charity.

After finding the donation certificate, Yunho said he was "very touched. Last February I returned the gifts they gave me, but I thanked them for the thoughtfulness. I hoped these gifts could be used on some good deeds instead. I'm very thankful they did such an act of kindness."

Yunho went on to say, "I'm very touched. Today will become a beautiful memory. I will show an even better side of me for my loyal fans."

TVXQ’s Changmin does a shake dance and kisses an android


TVXQ / DBSK was on Star King today and apparently Changmin stole the show.

He was asked to shake and sing at the same time, following the little girls example. He seemed embarrassed and squinted with mismatching eyes (one eye bigger than the other). He also gave the little girl a sweet hug.

He was then asked to kiss an android / robot, and he did so with hesitation. The robot had a smirk after he kissed it.

After 2 members of Super Junior Kyu Hyun and Ryeo Wook contributed on TVXQ's Mirotic album song "Wish" with Choi Kang Chang Min and Xiah Jun Su, Xiah Jun Su somewhat showed an interest to be a part of Super Junior's sub-unit by dealing it as a joke. "KRY of Super Junior really got the pitch that I personally adore. TVXQ has five members so there is no chance to form a sub-unit. I want to be a part of KRY not SJ-Happy with Eun Hyuk."

TVXQ members are confident and grateful for Kyu Hyun and Ryeo Wook's contribution to their album and a sure support from Cassiopeia plus ELF.

DBSK in “Infinity Challenge” Calendar

MBC FM Radio “Starry Night” is coming out with a 2009 calendar especially prepared for its listeners.

This calendar includes DBSK, Wonder Girls, Wheesung, Kim Jong Kook, Son Dambi, Kara, SS501, Rain, 2PM, SHINee, SNSD–big stars making a photo collection that is receiving much interest.

It was tough to capture the portrait of all these great-looking stars, and thus making a calendar like this was not easy.

This calendar wanted to capture more than just the stars themselves. It will include each month’s name in various world languages, as well as introducing constellations.

From the 2nd to the 21st, listeners of iMBC’s “Starry Night” will be able to enter a drawing with their name, number, and address, and 10,000 listeners will win the free calendar.

Already 20,000 listeners have entered the drawing, and this hot reaction surprised the production team. Lee Changho PD said “We just wanted to share a year-long service for our listeners so we prepared this.”
