Stop with the damn arguing. This thread is about rice cookers for cripesakes.

~ What do you think?
I think a rice cooker'd be helpful..pretty much it.

~ Do you know what a rice cooker is?
It's something that cooks rice?

~ Do you have one?
No, but I want one XD

~ Do you know anyone who doesnt know a rice cooker?
I don't think anyone I know in RL has a rice cooker. As for online people, the topic never came up.

~ Discuss anything you want about it.
Question; Would you just be able to buy it anywhere? And if anything I've talked about has been mentioned in the first post, I didn't read it XD

~ Do you think of it as a convenience or a hassle?
It's convenient, of course. 0.o The way my mom cooks rice in a pot takes way too long, and sometimes this and that happens.

Yeah, I think it would be in your neighborhood walmart...lolz.. but my mom bought ours at the mall...

Ok first of all, why dedicate a wholre thread to the ricecooker? Oh well, here's my 50 cents. OH yeh and Miko I like your fomating style. ok..

Also, does anyone eat straight from the rice cooker? Like, not even bothering using the bowl? I do sometimes, but no one else i know does. So i began to think it's an uncommon thing.

wow you're lazy...

Oh, and does anyone have a rice scoop? They're those white flat fat spoon things with the bumps on it. I don't know how to explain. Everyone uses regular spoons, and i think thats weird! XD When scooping rice, you need a rice scoop.

Btw, does anyone use rice cookers to make anything other then rice? We use rice cookers to make cinnamon tea...But does anyone else make anything in a rice cooker? XDD

I have a rice scoop, its like essential if you have a cooker. How else do you get the rice? And you can make other things with a rice cooker..like noodles.

~ What do you think?
I think its a convience...I wonder what the asian cavemen did without a ricecooker XD
~ Do you have one?
yup
~ Do you know anyone who doesnt know a rice cooker?
probbly.. id ont like sk them

Once i put my hand on the side of the rice cooker..and MOTHER of F...

The rice cooker itself, is a fixating and wondrous interest.... XD

(Note please delete the double post under me, Im so sorry, I forgot I posted already... =_=)

If you buy a rice cooker, I recommend getting one with a steamer attachment. (And non-Asian people do eat rice too--I know it's hard to believe. So: Rice Cookers! They're not just for Asians anymore.)

No matter how brilliant your rice cooker is, if you don't know the rice to water ratio, you're screwed.

I'm not too surprised that some people don't know what a rice cooker is. At the very least, it sounds like a person who cooks rice, ignorance being at it's maximum.

But for what it's worth, those Japanese rice cookers are a little too much, but most Japanese are really meticulous when it comes to the little things in life. They're nit pickers, but that's why their food tastes so darn good. Anyway, as long as my rice is fluffy and warm, I'm okay.
