Bruce Lee...i dont know any one who has ever heard of him. No martial arts conversation is ever complete without mensioning this guy.He was far more then some famous movie star...he was a martial arts legend.Thats what i want to disccuss here... not his career as an actor, but his carreer as a martial artist. When he came to America, he changed something about the way America and the world did martial arts. What did he change? What was it like before he changed it?How did he change martial arts in America and around the world?

As you answer these quesions, give your own personal views on his philosophy on martial arts. Some people hated the way he taught martial arts, others loved it.

-__-, Everyone knows Bruce Lee, he is awesome, I have seen Enter the Dragon, it was cool. Also, Rock Lee was based off Bruce Lee, as have been other characters from video games too.

Law from Tekken. :D

In fact, his alternate costume in Tekken 3 is Bruce Lee's Game of Death yellow jumpsuit.

Ehh, I like Jackie Chan more. JC does his own stunts, in his own film. D:

^ According to JC, even though BL was awesome in films, JC puts real emotions to his characters. When JC gets punch, he reacts by the pain he received from that punch. But when BL gets punch, no reaction whatsoever. It's like "he's superman" or something.

JC was a background cast in BL's movie "Enter the Dragon." I think that's JC 1st shot in a film. It's brief, but he had to start from somewhere.

i heard he has magical powers lol... and also a curse in his family in which the males dies at young age.. is that true?

lol my Dad should know all about this, having pretty much lived in his shadow! Erm...all I know is:

He changed the way people view Martial Arts in America and around the world and introduced his own style 'Jeet-Kun-Do' of Gung Fu. He demonstrated the famous 'one inch punch' to a crowd and shocked the world...he'd punch someone from 1 inch away and would send them flying. His death was also a major factor to his fame unfortunately...like all artists they get more famous when they die...ever heard that before? Well it's definitely true. I for one adored him for his power, speed and discipline not his mysterious death...he'd train forever...until his muscles ached...he even risked not walking ever again my training so hard. (He did some weight training whilst still carrying an injury and got a major spinal injury) luckily he recovered. Also the legendary fight between him and Karate Warlord 'Chuck Norris' got some attention He still lives...kind of...in the form of:

Rock Lee - Naruto
Martial Law - Tekken

He beat up Chuck Norris and Kareem Abdul Jabbar without breaking a sweat. Talk about badass ...
Did you know that Bruce Lee's fight scenes were usually in slow motion since it was almost impossible for audiences to keep up with the speed of his punches? When I heard that, I was like... wow.

If you never heard of Bruce Lee, then you don't know much about Hong Kong cinema or martial arts!! he was the best! i love Jackie Chan and everything, but Bruce was a way better martial artist.
