In some countries they do (in my native country for example). Bakc in Poland we would go to the cementaries and pray for the dead relatives, also in my town people would get there at night to say rosary, and sing for those souls. The cementary would look really pretty during night, because all the graves would be decorated with wreathes and candle lights (we have a special candles, protected by specially shaped, colorful jars). The atmoosphere was great. In the old days, they would leave food (and sometimes summon the spirits of dead to offer them help), but no-a-days nobbody does that anymore.
Now that I'm in the US I don't have any dead relatives graves here, so all I do is just go to church.

In the Philippines, we have a tradition that on all souls day/all saints day (nov. 1 or 2) we go to the cemetery to visit the graves our loved ones that has passed away. In my case, we visit the grave of my grandmother and grand father. There, we light candles, clean the gravestone and pray for them.

I look forward to it every year cause we get to only visit them once a year and also, it's like showing them that we still remember them even if they've passed away.

Occasionally I drink to my grandfather's grave and have my overnight stay at the cemetery. Last year, the biggest thing that I brought was a TV set and a karaoke machine.
