This so called debate looked to me like a political slap-fest. It’s the kind of stuff typical of freshmen in college. The difference is that one of these two lying douche bags is going to be our president. So, let’s take a quick glance at the verbal sewage from the last “Presidential Debate.”

Obama:

McCain:

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/factchecking_debate_no_1.html

What we saw was a series of fabrications, lies, and intentionally misleading terminology. Both candidates were dishonest at best. That's hardly the end of it. Look at some of the attacks Obama is making against Palin. (I wanted a list of attacks against both VP choices, but nobody is attacking Obam's guy. I wonder if that's because he's a white male...)

Palin:

Some other false attacks from each side:

In a radio-ad Obama says that McCain wants to end federal spending for stem-cell research. This is opposite the truth. McCain supports stem-cell research.

The NRA says that Obama wants to ban hunting amo and guns. This isn't true, Obama wants regulations, not bans.

Obama claimed that McCain wants to ban abortion even in cases of rape or incest. McCain has long supported abortion in case of rape, incest, or molestation. He also fights to allow abortion in cases where the mother is at risk!

It just goes on and on. Now, I'm not trying to pick on Obama here but it's even easier to find where he's lying or contradicting himself.

Some other lies:

#1 Ridiculous Attack on Obama:

#1 Ridiculous Attack on McCain:

My point is that these men are liars. My point is that we had good candidates from both sides. However, we booted the qualified and honest candidates in favor of Obama and McCain. I credit this to America’s laziness. In other words, do some research next time!

Opinions, comments, ext.

Regardless whether you vote or not... One of these men will be the future president of USA but if you ask me, I'll choose the lesser evil and pick McCain.

Although that I'm not an American, I have the right to voice out my opinion. An Obama supporter eh... If you believe that Obama is right then that's your opinion.

i hate politics so much. this is the first year i'm allowed to vote, but i keep getting this sad, sinking feeling in my gut when i realize that THESE are the people i have to choose between.

i don't think i'm going to vote this election year. Obama had my eye for a little while, but the closer we get to election day, the more i saw he's not "all about change"; he's just another run-of-the-mill democrat.

both candidates suck, i'm pushing for Californian Secession.

It takes lies to influence people. Get it? Its a standard for all politicians frm all over the world. If he or she wants the people to vote for the party or the candiate, they had to go through lies. Its all about politics.

It's not gonna stop one of them becoming the President. Everyone in the world tells lies, no matter how much you think they don't.

I pity American voters. Choosing between Obama-McCain is like choosing between the Electric Chair and Lethal Injection

I agree with you when you said we did have a chance of good candidates who actually has good voting records and very knowledagable of the economy but we decide, as usual to elect two evils. I agree while watching the debate I was totally disgusted at both sides they merely have the same policy but just minor tweaks in some area but really no huge difference. Here is a good article that shows there really isnt a choice.

Americans we will get what we want. Our system will never change because of the people we elect. Candidates that offered a real change and can actually tell you what they will do rather then just say we need a change, (Ron Paul etc..) was either attacked on our media our down right ignored when all they did was speak the truth and uphold the Constitution. Now I see why they wont allow third party individuals into the debates or people like Ron Paul because because they would destroy them and our corporate owned media and the rich guys in Washington cant have that. Most Americans is brainwashed by the media and we dont even know it. It is silly to have these stupid debates on two candidates that arent to far away from bush policies.

Are there some Americans out there that really %100 support any of thes candidates policy or is seeing some real change from them? The good thing is as I stated before the more pain we go through the more people will wake up from their slumber. Only thing I disagree with you is saying Mccain is the lesser or two evils.
