Silver may not technically be a color, but I like to think of it as one anyhow.

When can something be considered a color or not?

"SILVER" is actually gray with a metallic sheen. your "silver" crayons don't actually capture the essence of silver: of spoons, forks, knives, and everything made of Ag.

So the reason you made a poll with one real option and not a general thread "Silver is not a color" is....?

My guess is you know its dumb and would be made fun of for making dumb thread. And/Or you'd rather insult people for a silly, but common and harmless belief with a poll rather than the trollishly attacking each individual person who posted otherwise in said silly thread.
So do you consider silverware gray? (but shiny)

talking about the color of silverware, yes it's gray, but thanks to the smooth surface, light is effectively reflected resulting to the "shine". you want me to go down the quantum explanation of this for you? and "silverware" is silver because it's made of Ag, silver, the element, and not because it has a "silver" color. if your silverware is "silver" only in color then it's goddam fake. i made the poll because i am interested in the commonality of mistaken views, views held to be true because everybody else believes in it. Which only means that even the truth is absolutely relative.
don't think everybody else is as stupid as you think. i have a degree in chemistry if you must know.

and i don't think the question is dumb. I made it. I wouldn't make dumb posts. I also wanted to determine the frequency of people who think it's funny to press the "IDK.I'm dumb" button. what do you care what we post here?it's not your site. a******
