i was just thinking,
in vietnam the music industry isn't as gud as like the rest of asia....
none of the singers in vn really go anywhere but if they do, it's just to USA into like PBN, Asia or Van Son etc...

the American Viet productions on the other hand is really well, not that well done coz they don't sing live (cept concerts) and it's usually the same songs over and over or viet version of another lanuage's song!

now, i'm just wondering what everyone else thinks because personally, i think that viet music really needs a push in the right direction and new music

i don't have a problem with groups or artists doing a cover song...because all singers do, no matter what country they come from. but this performance was hard to watch...

Hrmm.. ok.. I don't like how some Viet producers rip off sh*t from other countries as well. I also agree that Viet music isn't up there with other Asian productions yet, but best believe; the younger crowd of Viet artists are slowly changing that. A few artists who don't fit into the regular, old-fashioned style of Viet music are: Ung Dai Ve, Philip Huy, Minh Nguyen, and probably more that I haven't heard of yet. Have some faith in our country guys....
