my opinion on this is that it is just gay what the hell is wrong with gonzo????? the manga kurogane no linebarrel the main character wasnt a punk b***ch getting picked on in fact he was like the strongest guy ever who was almost a bully himself just cuz its an anime doesnt mean you have to cater to all the wimpy nerds who gert bullied and represent them with such a weak character who gets strong only because of the mecha i mean from the manga version he as a child was killed by the linebarrel and thus ressurecdted by it endowing him with super muscle speed and capabilitys and they just cut that out leaving him a little pussy gay stuff!

Art was bad and music was DREADFUL. Can't they pull something better?
I find Kouichi and his two friends interesting, how their friendship bloomed, but the episode had a boring, cliche story-telling. The ending of his laugh was really interesting and funny, but in a good way. Still, I wouldn't give this show a chance.

Don't know what's more interesting; the "original adaptation" of Linebarrels of Iron, or the majority of the average viewers' slanderous comments. Sure goes to show how most people these days tend to object anything without considering all the facts, and thus not willing to be responsible for their actions & comments.
It's amazing how most viewers were expecting to see everything the same in the anime series as the original manga, even though the series was advertised as an "original adaptation". Do they actually understand the meaning of that term in Japanese animation production, I can't help but to wonder.
I think the best approach to view this anime series is to treat it as a stand-alone production. It took the concept of the manga, and made it into something almost completely different. It's quite honestly refreshing, if you ask me.

I FREAKING LOVED IT!!! i like the fact that he looks well on his way to Madness!!! the cackling at the end of his battle actually made me cackle.....honestly, i think i would have reacted the very same way....with out the hero of justice nonsense....there is no need to compare this guy to Shinji, from beginning to end, Shinji was a major puss boy....kouichi shows so much promise...the anti-hero hero....LOVE IT!

So far so good remindes me of the zone of the enders games. mainly the 2nd one. cg movement was smooth and cool the scale was consistent with the surroundings. ie: the size of the machina did not vary from scene to scene. .

somehow it reminds me of the old gate keepers with the super hero shun on the "Mecha".
my opinion: its pretty entertaining even though it targets boys stuffs. fantastic introduction for a first episode. its intresting to see how the story develops. 5 stars. |
