And it felt good. Kouichi has finally came to terms with the mistakes that he made, by realizing what he did up to then as the Factor of Linebarrels was wrong. As he reflects on those mistakes that he made, he'll redefine himself by learning about the truths. He will then grow up and be mature enough to become a true hero of justice, at the cost of his embarrassments(boob grabbing, infinite crouch smashing, just to name a few).

As for the next episode, WTF ensured.

Let's test that theory of yours.

Here's your chance to redeem yourself, Shizuna. GO infinite kicks to the 'nads!

And no, I'm not going to get tired of that anytime soon.

It feels like the mecha trilogy once again.... boy love girl... mecha loves fighting(duh)... world in danger... the story line is classic, I just hope they put some complexity on the story line... and hope that it doesn't end like expected... like world peace... after all those fighting?... Nah... but whatever... I leave the story to the creative writer (hehehehe)... Lets see what he comes up with..

And yeah come on ... there's must be more to the boob touching to make the Machina come out (pervy writer!!!) hahahahahah this is one of the best ways to bring out a huge mecha!!! touch the boobs man touch the boobs... and that huge Machina will come out (I know it sounds pervy!!) I apologize to the ladies... but jeeezzz. I'm glad they took out the boob touching part...

This is actually an incredible series. It seems pretty normal at first. Like, basic action, sort of harem-ish. You know. The usual. But the character they've concocted is really brilliant. I think I kind of know what he's going on about, never being the center of attention, never being looked up to, always being second best, if not dead last. That's painful. Even though he's annoying, I think it gives him originality. Not all heroes can be the cool awesome and still humble. Some of them have got to be jerks about it? Don't they? And sometimes, who knows, maybe their jerkishness is justified... in a way. I also think this show is one big metaphor for growing up.

1) From being the kid, the one protected all the time, powerless, (Childhood, his figurative "parents" being Yajima and Risako" one who protects him and one who worries about him.)

2) Suddenly gaining power, and abusing it quite badly (adolescence, being a snotty conceited teenager, also, with the black haired girl representing sexual desire, after all she IS naked half the time. One might even say the linebarrel is phallic imagery, suddenly appearing when breasts are groped.. if you catch my drift.)

3) Well.. actually he's not all that mature yet, as I've only watched up to episode 3, and haven't read the manga. But at least by episode 3, it seems he's sort of come to terms with his inner feelings of inferiority a little, or at least realized them, and admitted that he doesn't want to be the naive and childish "Hero of Justice" but simply wants attention, and to be recognized, and hailed as a hero, regardless of the "justice" bit.
