Dont have money for new tires? drift in the rain : ) its a lot easier and dosent do much dmg to your tires.

drift in the rain?
its so dangerous..But If u do that...I'm sure u r going to die soon...

not really lol. when u drift in the rain its a lot easyer to break traction and maintain a drift as lower speeds also its less wear and tear on your engin due to not havin to rev as high to maintain the drift.

i can break traction and hold a slide while only revin to about 4k rpm in the rain.

drifting in the rain is not as dangerous as you think unless your doing it in the mountain pass or something. Yes a lot of drifters i know LOVE the rain because

1. you dont burn as much tire
2. cops dont hear you burn tire
3. easier to break a drift
4. you don't have to go as FAST to break your drift
5. FUN FUN FUN

Certainly your points are correct, but you're forgetting a lot of kids these days are 'drifting' by actually hydroplaning, some have even told me they put some soap in their tire tread.

It may not be dangerous to someone who is trained or with an instructor on a closed course, but to the average joe-blow who is "drifting" their civic or other car in the rain, there's a fine line between losing traction and being able to recover, versus losing traction and being able to plow into something.

who also forgot 2 more facts,
1. rain acts as a differential for all you open diff people
2. rain also feels like it gives you more power cause of the easier loss of traction (so you can actually slide a lot longer than you can on the dry)

oh and try to have decent tires when you do, so that you dont hydroplane/understeer into something

hmm last time in the rain i broke traction at around 2500 rpm with bald tires on my stock ka with welded diff

but thats a reason for those who street race... how would you really mess up your car at a track? yea maybe get couple of dents here and there but you dont really have to mind the dents..lol

Couple of dents here and there costs money... your suspension takes quite a beating too if you manage to hit something and make a dent while drifting. Maybe it's just my shitty car but I guess that depends on the car, my car would take a lot of damage from drifting and my tires are not for drifting either. I don't really know much bout cars so I can't really say but I love cars just don't know too much bout them.

haha yes couple of dents here and there costs money....if you fix it, orr you can try and remove those dents yourselves, ehhhh ive had my suspension for a veryyyy long time and they are still comfortable while sliding, lol you can really use any tires for drifting, just when you start pushing higher hp its better to get grippier tires, drifting and knowing about cars is 2 completely different things..what car are you driving now?

Stock Nissan 350Z, I've never been taught the correct way to drift either so I doubt I'm doing it right. Maybe that's why I fuck the car up so easily.

Found it easier to drift with my friend's shitty Corolla, lol he was the one who taught me how to drift

is it the track edition? if its only the base you have a little while before you can drift. if youve got the track edition it comes with the stock vlsd if you got base model then your going to need to get a differential and coilovers always help out drifting

i have a track edition so im stuck with the sucky viscous for now but hopefully ill swap it out to a 2 way or something soon

lol shitty corolla? like the initial d one? im guessing it has coils and a diff

(are you on my350z?)

Nope, I didn't think I need a track edition cause at the time I just wanted a car for transportation lol I have a 2004 350Z roadster and it only comes in touring I think. And yeah my friend's shitty Toyota GTS was so easy to drift and he let us fuck it up too.

I've heard of My350z but nope I'm not on there

ok no offense but i think your feeding bs, i have drifted a corolla gts 85-86 with suspension/differential and some power mods they are much harder than other cars like 240's rx7's etc, i think your watching too much initial d.. lol (yes and my friends corolla is very nicely done)
