MUGEN kicks booty!! You can download different characters from different games and anime. It becomes very fun to play with 300 different downloaded characters. I don't remember where I downloaded it, but youtube is a really good help!

I would say the latest DotA is a must.
EotA is also an excellent game that offers a little change from DotA.
Pudge Wars is always a great laugh, once you get the hang of the tactics.
Tank Wars has a lot of potential.
And my personal favourite is the Element TD

Ah, I didn't read the majority of other posts, I'll suggest some other ones.
Warlocks is a quality game.
Fantasy Life is a good (albeit lengthy game).
Twilight's ORPG is another great but lengthy game.

Footie wars or Footmen wars.... that's really something when you play it with many ppl.
