why anyone would even want vampires is beyond me. might as well make werewolves and a clone army while we're at it then.

why would ne one want to make black holes? because scientist have recently made them...peace over war

no scientist is purposely trying to create a black hole. that would kill us all. mini black holes can be created in one of those large colliders, but they disappear almost as soon as they are created. scientists have not created a black hole that can be sustained long enough to wipe out the whole planet nor will they be able to in the near future.

You are missing some very important traits:

ne thing is possible with time...

Jesus ran across water...

Some scientists claim Human minds can change the molecles of water

Humans can develope serious skin irritations through natural evolution...

Over millions of years the sun will get larger, thus everything in its path will turn to ashes

as for immotality...people r currently working on technology that might be able to inegrate human bains...basicially turn humans into cybors or something of the sort...we may complete such technology this cerntury...if not in a million years...peace over war

Anything is possible with time... possibly. I'm not so closed-minded to say that that stuff will forever be impossible, but I do believe that for now... they are impossible.

Also, I really hope that technology does NOT come up with immortality. Humans are meant to die. Staying alive forever leaves us with no purpose to live.

Very true, I did leave those out. Simply for the fact that every one of those traits are impossibilities.

Cannot cross running water -- I don't even understand this one, sorry...
Burned by holy water -- What water is classified as "holy"?
Burned by anything crucifix-shaped -- If a shape can really affect whether someone gets burned by it or not, then I think I'm going to question the laws of science....
Turned to ash by sunlight -- Unless you're out in the sun long enough to catch on fire, which is impossible as far as I know, then I really don't think anyone's going to be turning into ash...
Immortality -- I don't need to comment on that.

Yes, I know that you probably already knew that they are all impossible. But another reason why I left them out is because they are disputable, and not requirements to be able to classify something or someone as a vampire. Or am I wrong?

That's your basic vampire lore right there. How are the in the least disputable?

Disputable because not every vampire story out there states that vampires must be each of those things.

Dwelling..? Who's "dwelling"? I'm merely questioning...
And, I really hope that you're right, and that it's not going to happen, which I don't think it will. I never said that I hoped science would attempt to create vampires, I simply wondered if it was possible

So don't go snapping at me like that, kay?

did u know there is technology being worked on that may enable humans to become cyborgs and live forever?

human organs may evole over millions of years to except blood as a vital source of nutrients if the conditions r right.cyborgs have super natural strength...if people ever created one...peace over war

Replacing limbs to help those who have lost them is completely different thats not natural evolution. Cyborgs to live forever, I'd like to see this source

I am majoring in Biology. ('.') as in study of animals including humans, and no evolution as the other girl has stated is normally to adapt to ones environment. I can not see even in how ever many years that it would be necessary or even help a human to sustain life on blood. Again scientist have already studied that possibility and have busted it.

I can't see the scenrio where a human would need to evolve to be afraid of the sun, and need blood. or have super human strength. Close as you will get is that one crazy queen lady who killed her servants to bath in their blood lol.

(''/)

but im interested in this cyborg thing seriously pm me the link if you can :). I mean I know they just got a mechanical arm working. And the progression of Japanese Robots is amazing, but this cyborg sustaining life?

Well, im talking about natural evolution and technilogical advances. i wont debate possibilities because there r infinite possibilities in life. On the discovery channel i saw a man hook up a robot arm to his brain, and he moved it with his mind.

Ne thing is possible when dealing with changing enviroment, humans may wipe out all of the animals in the world, we may have to live off of blood because of aliens, ect. some animals live off of blood and fresh meat, we used to as well.Possiblities r endless, scientist cant predict and bust all of them, they dont even have a 100% understanding of how the human mind works.

there r endless scenrio's were humans can fear the sun, need blood, and have super str. Its hard for us to imagine the future because we can only go on the past. Do u think people in the 1500s envisioned our future today? What about cave men? could they have dreamed of what we r doing now?To them, the idea of technology itself could not have been even existed.Today's world may be seen as immpossible to a guy from 1 A.D.

i dont really know a link- i was talking about the mechanical arm...and that there is just a link to another possible future for technology itsself...peace over war

I want to believe that anything is possible. I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again.

all im saying is that ne thing is possible with time...some scientist say people can run across water if they truly believe they can..

and the sun will get larger b4 it dies out...its in its lifespan, and wen it dies out, it may create a black hole.

give a monkey a type writer and in time it may complete a briliant work of Shakesspear...peace over war

I mentioned the mechanical arm, that won't help humans live forever what are you talking about. It works on batteries, and its still needs the kinks worked out it hasn't been approved yet. (''/)

I think you let your imagine take over too much.

Uhm, man has only evolved forward not back. , not being able to go outside would only hinder our species. not help.

blood as a food source for something as big as a human being is not going forward. it would limit us to what could keep us alive, right now we have such a variety.

You aren't making any sense.
