I hate when people make fourms or comments and don't do their hw about it~
They just look like a idiot in the end and this is old old news like for real~
Also DBSK do write their own songs sometimes, Micky wrote a few, jeez don't comment if you don't know all the facts

guys... if it was already explained then we should just accept it. anyway, it was already stated that the song is was given to two different artists residing in two completely different continents so what's the problem with that? asia and europe are two completely different places and it doesn't matter who sang it or recorded it first.

no offense to sarah connor fans, but i've never heard of her before... though i am a DBSK fan, and i do prefer their version than sarah connor's... after watching sarah connor's version, the song lyrics aren't one and the same you know... let's just say that both sarah connor and DBSK had done something to that song to make it their own...

sarah connor's video is all about SEX and HOTNESS... and such... for men... yeah, there's dancing... but that's the kind of dancing seen in bars or clubs...

DBSK's video... well, it is hot and sexy, but they made it into a music anyone can dance to... plus, their MV tells you a story... the rapping part is a perfect addition to the song and gives it a semi hip-hop flavor...

and... DBSK's new do's actually make them look more mature... more handsome...

so, no arguments anymore, ok?

DBSK and Sarah Connor both have rights for the song.
I like DBSK's version more, obviously, because I'm a fan.
But Sarah's version is good as well.

both versions are good but i like dbsk better
they both basically had have the same composer and melody of the song
but the songs have different meanings and they each have their own rights
and it was already stated the composer sold it to sarah and dbsk
so they arent plagiarizing

yeah, you are totally right.
the meanings are totally different. look at their MVs too, if you want proof. sarah's MV is totally and have a completely different meaning than DBSK's.
and since the composer already sold it to both of them, leave sarah to show it to the western side and DBSK to show it to the Eastern.

October 4th, 2008

Dong Bang Shin Gi’s new song, ‘Spell (MIROTIC)’ was criticized because of plagiarism.

When Dong Bang Shin Gi’s new album with the title track, ‘Spell (MIROTIC) was released, netizens simultaneously began identifying the similarities between their title track and German pop singer, Sarah Conner’s song, “Under My Skin.” Various arguments erupted with netizen’s stating, “This is plagiarism,” and “This is a remake.”

Dong Bang Shin Gi’s company spoke to the press on the 30th to clear this issue. “The composing team of Remee/Troelsen who composed BoA’s American debut song, ‘Eat You Up’ gave Dong Bang Shin Gi and Sarah Conner the same song” and that, “While Europe receives the rights for Sarah Connor’s version, Asia get’s Dong Bang Shin Gi.”

Furthermore, “when we first received the song, we knew that they were the same,” stated a spokesperson. “Sarah Conner made her version public last month but Dong Bang Shin Gi had finished recording in June.”

pretty old news...

rights are both sarah conner and dbsk

why would they even plagarize? they know if they plagarize, its gonna start their downfall
dbsk would never do that. they're too good for plagarizing...
Posted 10/5/08
wow...this isn't like where you usually have a very simliar beat or something.....it's almost the same!
but then again, they've probably woked it all out...no need to worry about dbsk (for now...)

maybe the term "plagiarizing" isn't just right....someone explained it already....and yeah...their hair aren't gay...lol
