Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters):
Probably 30-40 chapters. Really depends on the story. It sucks when stories drag on forever.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
I love serious and dramatic, but its even better with a touch of comedy.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Depends.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Early.

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
I like romance with another genre.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Not really.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
I hate tragic endings. And cliffhangers. Finish the dang story.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Strong, smart, and pretty.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).

Long

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?

Light, lots of comedy. It can have a fair bit of drama as long as it is balanced out with the comedy

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).

Either one

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?

Close to, or right at the end

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).

An action/ comedy/ romance would be best for me. Although I have always thought of the Special A anime as a comedy...

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary

It's not necessary but as long as it take anything away from the story either way is fine

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?

Very bad idea, there has to be a happy ending... and definitely an ending of some sort

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?

Strong, smart and pretty

short

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
if it's light it has to be drama-free and if it's serious it has to have a very low level of comedy, if any. one or the other, really.
but all in all, light is preferable to me.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
reverse harems

fast

looove romcom

only if it's funny

i'm a sucker for happy endings

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
the main character should be well developed and believable

Short's fine but it to be longish if its good.
Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Yep.
Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
BOTH
Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
End. Probably because im the type of person who got easily bored when the two main characters are already together.
Everything's fine
Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
No.

She should be pretty. Fine if she's not smart.

- Long, but only if it doesn't drag out and become boring.

- I'm not sure how to answer this. I prefer serious themes, but I like it some humor incorporated.

- Romance between mainly two people.

- It should be well developed, so towards the end, I suppose. I have a hard time relating if I'm just told two people are in love.

- Mixed romance.

- Not really.

Tragic ending: If it makes sense, then I don't mind. Really depends on the execution. If it's done for the sake of making it a sob-story, then no. However, if there's a logical lead-up and it actually serves a purpose in the meaning of the show/themes, then yes.

- Strong and smart. And whatever makes it realistic.

I don't get too concerned over chapters. Volumes is a concern though. I'm more likely to go after a four-volume series than a 50-volume series. I like long stories, just not Naruto-long. Deathnote-long is okay, but I had to borrow some books from the library in order to read the whole thing.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Inbetween.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Two people. Triangles can usually be irritating, but there's exceptions I guess.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Depends. Usually end. If it starts early, it's rather predictable.

Romance isn't really my thing. I don't really go for stories that center completely around it, mostly because it's predictable.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Totally unnecessary. I don't mind some now and then but I don't want my series to be full of it, especially if it's not done in a creative way.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
It's poorly used in some situations but it can be used appropriately.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Mostly smart.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Long ass manga.
Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Probably one that has plenty of serious stuff and romance, but makes me LOL all the time too. (ie. Clannad)
Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
...idk wut reverse harem is. so...the second choice :)
Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
I like closer to the end, but not like at the last chapter or anything...
Romance with another genre...if its all about romance, it gets really f*cking boring.
Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Oh helllll no. I loved Highschool of the Dead's violence and blood, guts, and gore, but there was so much damn ecchi, i stopped watching/reading it.
Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Tragic endings are painful...but Death Note is the only "unhappy ending" that i kinda like. So i would say "bad idea but tolerable"
Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Depends on what her love interest is like... but if i had to choose, i would say strong, smart, and pretty. (ie. Haruhi from Ouran)

1. Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
I would prefer a longer Manga. Longer Mangas usually have more character development and deeper stories, rather than short, fly-by-night mangas.

2. Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
I like an even mix of both. Nana and Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon had a lot of humor, but they were largely serious. Same with Fushigi Yuugi. The most serious series that I own is Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden.

3. Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Romance between 2 people.

4. Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
What do you mean by this question?

I prefer romances to be secondary, and not primary.

6. Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
It is not.

7.Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Okay idea, depends on how it is executed.

8.Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
I couldn't care less about aesthetics. She should be competent and likable.

thanks!

I like short cuz the story usually keeps my interest and long manga/anime usually start getting fillers.

I like it serious with a little light so it doesn't get too depressin or boring.

Romance, mainly between two characters.

I like the romance to be in between and I like when the acknowledge it a bit early because when it's close to the end... it's like oh great it's over just when it started... (pissed)

romance-action with a little bit of comedy... personally I like smut so I guess pure romance is good too.

I like smut but not ecchi because they sometimes over do the freakishly large breast and panty shots :S smut is more intense I find and the relationships don't usually seem based on looks.

Tragic endings can be good but sometimes they piss me off... (since the story I wrote had a sad ending I can't really complain)

I like when the main character if it's a girl is beautiful, strong and smart because I think if the plot is focusing on her, she should be someone who you can admire and I like. I dislike when the made character is a airhead because sometimes they just act so dumb! And i hate weak main characters!. Also i believe that most main characters should be the prettiest because usually in the manga there's a love rival who is way better looking and I feel it's unfair.
If the main protagonist is male, I like him to be handsome, strong and cool. The cool, cold guy always got my attention because you get to see his heart warm up to the one he loves. (also a plus if he's a bit of a player at first. So hot! yummy)

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
It depends how good the manga is. Say skip beat, yes! But still, sometimes i just want a random meanless, unpopular short storyline.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Serious at moments and funny at moments (e.x. full metal alchemist)

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Both is ok.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
END! What kind of romance is just perfectly OK in the begaining with No fighting and BREAK-UP and lOVE Triangle problems? NOTHING! Well, maybe u can say that they "like" each other from the begaining but they confess in the end.
The only one i can think of thats lovey-dovey in the begining is school days >:D and they all end up dead. (sorry, it's not that good so no spoiler thing...)

Both but i hate school rumble!

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
-_- not necessary.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
It's good. I mean, those mangas with the sad ending... ... if it were happy, whuld u have the sceen replayed in ur mind 30 times? Would it have been all u can think about for the next 3 or 4 days? Both sad and happy endings r gd :)

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
-_- the main character should me unique like the Kyoko from Skip beat... i mean, i had enough of classic romance!

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Shortish manga because those stories are much more cuter, and doesn't get boring because its short and it doesn't seem like it's stalling. Short & Sweet!

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Light

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Romance between 2 people, SO ADORABLE!

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
I prefer fast, if it's right at the end and the mangas really long then i probably would get bored.

I like stories that mainly focus on romance. :D

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Ecchi is okay, but not always necessary.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Bad idea, but tolerable.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Girl: pretty but has an unattractive attitude
Boy: stupid but sweet.

OMG just like LOVELY COMPLEX XD <3

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
depend on the story if it interesting and funny I don't mind if I read more than 40 chapters (like Gakuen Alice, Skip Beat, etc) If it boring manga especially with a few comedy I prefer below 10 chapter

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
I prefer light story especially with full of comedy like Lovely complex or My heavenly Hockey Club

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
I choose both, in harem I don't mind if the main character is a girl (with a lot of guy) that would be funny and cute than male main character because for me male character look stupid and ugly even in artwork their face look handsome, for story between two people it was also nice

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
I prefer the girl (main character) or the boy realize their love in the middle of the story or at the end of the story for example if in the book there are 10 volume, the girl or the boy realize their love in the volume 5 or 6

I prefer romance with another genre you can see their adventure in love but not really focus on it you can say it's more realistic like lovely complex, Gakuen Alice, Nodame Cantabile, Fruits Basket, Ouran High School Host Club. this story not just think of romance, love... but also their friendship, their hardwork, and their adventure in fantasy and also their dark past and that something you can learn from it in the realistic life.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Too much ecchii is not good in shoujo manga.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
anything is fine as long as make sense with the whole story, because there are several manga with unique ending but you still get it.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
anything is fine as long as the eye of the character is NOT too big full on the face but the nose and the mouth is sooo tiny that will make me dizzy.
