Longer manga.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?

Urmmmm depends. I need comedic moments but I looooove drama.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).

TWO PEOPLE ROMANCE PLZKTHNX

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?

NO, too fast is NEVER GOOD. I prefer tension and then an official get-together either in the middle or end.

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).

Mixing romance with another genre is the best idea....if you don't, it gets kinda........old.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.

Of course not.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?

BAD IDEA BAD IDEA BAD IDEA!!! ENOUGH ASIAN STORIES DO THIS ALREADY. I don't wanna read something and then walk away feeling like crap. :(

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?

Who says you can't be cute, moe, AND strong and smart? 8D

i like 10-15 chapters, per book.reallys its better if you stop there so people can look back and say,"hey i remember that!it was really good!and i didnt havet to wait so long to see that kiss between _____ and ____________"!
I like lots of comedy,
Maybe it's cuter if right in the beginning the guy or girl is going to confess,
I thinks its more fun to have more genres,it makes side characters pop out more.lol
Ecchi?well i dont know.there are some ecchis i like.(Rosario Vampire,etc)so maybe?
Great ending with a little bit of mystery?
the mc should be smart, strong, sweet, and pretty.
oh i forgot about the harem ?,well i dont like harems so just focus on the two.lol

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Long, It makes the reader more attached to the characters and it leaves more of an impact on the reader

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Both. Mostly serious but with some lighter aspects thrown in to keep it a little more balanced

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Reverse harem if it’s done right (Ouran HSHC) but otherwise just a couple possible love interests ;D

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
From 75% done to the end

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
Romance-Action x3

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Nope

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
I’d rather not >//< but if it is written well enough, I understand

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?

~ I usually prefer long manga. For me the longer the manga is, the better.

~ A mix of sort of complicated twists with heaps of comedy!

~ Romance between two people. Less lovey-dovey. And confusing.

~ Romance? Throughout the manga!

~ Romance is always better with a mix of other genres. Especially mystery-action-romance.

~ Uhmmn, I sort of enjoy a little ecchi. (HEY I JUST FIND IT FUNNY!)

~ Tragic ending? It helps me understand that life isn't just about happy endings, so yeah, it's alright.

~ Cute, smart, talented. But it doesn't really matter, as long as their character is strong, or atleast I can relate to them.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
I prefer longer manga so the story can be fleshed out and things don't seem rushed or without detail.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Somewhere in between lol Serious at times but definitely having light moments of comedy

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Love Fushigi, but generally am not interested in any kind of harem manga/anime. I like to read about a developing relationship between two people that strengthens over time.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Sudden Romance at the beginning is not realistic or believable and feels like it's been rushed for the sake of the story. Again, I like the romance to grow over time realistically, but it's also not as fun if, after all the reading, the two people just barely acknowledge their feelings for each other at the end. Grr, that's just the beginning then! haha Simply put, somewhere in between.

In my opinion, mainly romance-focused stories tend to have ALOT of drama that can sometimes drag if it's the same-old same-old, though their are definitely exceptions. I prefer to have the romance balanced with adventure, fantasy, comedy or all of the above! lol That way there's a mix and it's all the more exciting with less dragging or fillers!

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Gross. Why ruin a good story with that?

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Really Bad idea! I know that there can't always be a happy ending, but when real life has such sadness happening every day, I don't also want to be reading about it in manga, or anything else for that matter. I like to read manga for a happy, exciting, adventurous escape.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Doesn't usually matter to me, but honestly i tend to like more beautifully drawn characters. Pretty or beautiful then, I guess. I also really like to read stories that have female protagonists who are strong and smart, and can save themselves instead of waiting around for someone.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
I prefer manga that is long, but I dont want a manga thats like going on it's 200th chapter or something like that

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
I like serious but I would also want some comedy too

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
I like romance mainly between two people.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
in the middle, if it begins at the start of the manga, I would get tired of the relationship.

Id have to say that I like romance-comedy, I dont like fantasy or action mixed up in the romance. Im also fine with a story that focuses on romance.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
It isnt necessary. It kinda ruins the story if there is too much.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
I dont like tragic endings, they usually make me cry.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
I enjoy the manga/anime more if
the male characters are good-looking, and strong, sometimes serious.
and if the girls are pretty. I dont like bad drawing manga, or manga that the character are ugly in.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Depends on the writer, but when more time will help in developing the plot/characters I much prefer long stories.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Serious, definitely.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Single romance. Sick to death of harem-ish plots.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Should develop at a natural pace throughout the story.

I love supernatural romances and romance-adventure plots. Don't think I'd read a romance story that was only about the romance (unless it was yaoi =)

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
No, no need for anything explicit as far as I'm concerned.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Tragic endings are great.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Not really fussy about that. As long as s/he's well written I'll give the story a chance. (but OK, I do have a weakness for stories with really smart and good-looking characters. =)

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
'long' manga because more they are chapters, more the story is detailled & more its interesting xD

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Both, depends of my mood... ^^'

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
'Romance btw mainly 2 people'

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
None, its sould be a little bit early but not like in the 1st chapter. It has to be at least a little realist.

Both, I would like any manga who have a good story that you don't get bored of it ... ^^'

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Necessary? No. But if you had some, it doesn't matter me... ^^.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Okay idea

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Doesn't matter a lot because when we want to read a good manga, we don't want to always see the same genre of main characters...

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
I like really long mangas because it gives it time to develope the story more.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Depends on how I'm feeling on a given day.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Idk

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
I think we should start near the beginning, but have a lot of buildup.

Again, idk. i just want a good manga. And not have them all the same.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Not necessary, but I can deal with having or not having it

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Depends on the anime

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Again idk, i want some difference between animes so that means slightly different characters each time.

thanks!

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
doesn't matter...

i prefer ones with action..
Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
no need..i don't read ecchi that much..
Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
i think it's a great idea since it's somehow unique...very few manga-kas can think of a tragic ending so *thumbs up*...
Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
the main character's appearance doesn't matter to me as long as the plot is good...

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
~I prefer long mangas because they are usually more interesting, since they almost always have lots of plot twists and excitement to keep me hooked.
Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
~Serious is okay, but I do like some comedy with it to lighten the mood. Too much seriousness just ends up making me tired.
Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
~Hehe, well 1-on-1 romance is okay, but I kind of like reverse harems because there is some competition, and you can pick your favorite couple, but not necessarily know who the main character will choose.
Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
~Romance should NOT come early. It either has to come in the middle or end. Fast romances only make me think, "hmm, there's still 30 chapters left.... that probably means this couple won't last, since they wouldn't need 30 chapters to tell us how happy their relationship is".
~Only romance gets boring, so I like romance/comedy and action with a little bit of romance mixed in.
Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
~No. No ecchi. Ecchi is in no way, shape, or form romance. It's just dumb fansevice 99% of the time, and it really weakens the story.
Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
~Urgh, hard question.... I guess I love/hate them. I hate them, because I enjoy happy endinds so much more. Even if it's a tragic story, a little bit of hapiness at the makes me happy..... I love them because ultimately, if it's an ending that makes me want to rip my hair out, I end up rembering it, because it was one of the few manga that made me sit down and say, "wait, WHAT?!?! No, no, this can't be last chapter, because that ending is totally depressing/not-what-i-wanted!! There needs to be 1 more chapter to make everything happy again!!!".
Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
~Boy: handsome, dependable, smart
~Girl: I think the girl should be pretty, smart, competant, and usually able to take care of herself. I am so tired of stupid, annoying, clingy, helpless, cutesy/moe girls. They make me sick. Real girls aren't like that (or at least I'm not...)
