Would you prefer a long manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
A long story. But I'm fine with short ones (as long as its story is cute).

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Light, but not TOO MUCH comedy.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
I read both, but I prefer 2 people. Reverse harem makes me feel sorry for the guys the heroine didn't like.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Romance should be early. I get bored easily.

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
I prefer mangas that focus mainly on the romance and some sub-plots. But I do also read those with another genre.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
No. I came for the romance here. . . And I don't like ecchi.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Okay idea and REALLY bad idea. It depends. If the tragic ending was plotted beautifully, I'd say it's an okay idea. I don't really like tragic endings.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
If it's a girl/bishoujo, I'd say smart, cute, and beautiful.
If it's a guy/bishounen, I'd say smart, strong, and beautiful.

-Short. But not too short.
- light
- reverse harem
- right at the end
- another genre
- ecchi can be good, but it also can be really bad, depends on how it is done.
- she needs to be realistic and flawed.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
depends. I read anything. usually, I'm hoping for a longer manga though x3 but not like Air Gear long (300+ chapters. though it's still awesome lol)

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
again that depends. I'm pretty open towards everything

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
...either. but not like a gigantic harem. : / actually, the more I think about it, romance between two seems pretty good too.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
it should start off slow y'know? but in the beginning, of course x3 but not right away lol

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
actually, I enjoy romance-action alot. something to do with the kick-ass fighting scenes yeah? xD I like romance-fantasy and comedy as well. Speical A was good too c: buuut mostly romance-action-comedy (if you read Oresama Teacher, you'll get what I mean)

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
eh. not really. I'm pretty tolerant towards ecchi, but overdosing is kinda nauseating. especially towards us girls. male mangakas should give some consideration to girls looking at panty/boob shots. seriously. =w=;

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
bad idea but tolerable. no other comment than that xD

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Strong and smart obvi. those annoyingly cute ,stupid, naive ones that are pretty generic are barf inducing. make the main character pretty but not excessively beautiful. 'cause sometimes if you make 'em too perfect they'll look like plastic Barbies and totally unrealistic.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Long ass manga.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Bit of both. Like, with a good few comedic bits, but with serious parts too. Like Naruto.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Between two people.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Kinda somewhere near-ish the end, but not RIGHT at the end.

Two genres.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
As in the innuendos? Hell yeah. No manga is complete without the perverted one. But seriously, there should be some more.. er.. pervy, for want of a better word, shots of boys, because it's a bit tiring for girls to watch girls fall over and display their scanty underwear every five seconds.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Bad idea but tolerable.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Pretty, but there should always be someone more attractive.

reverse harem unless the two main characters are really strong

2/3 of the way

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Long

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Both

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Romance between two people

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?

If its short, fast romance. If its long, it should be gradual but pretty obvious

I'd go with romance with another genre. Its easier to feel the romance blossoming between them.. assuming that its long

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.

Not at all

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?

tolerable idea, even if I hate it, its what makes the story so good.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Girl: Cute and smart
Guy: Strong and smart, and handsome

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
I like the ones in the middle. Not too long nor not too short. But I kinda do like my manga a little onto the short side though.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
I'm pretty in the middle for that. I like serious story that has light stuff in the story here and there.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
I like the romance with mainly two people because a harem, the main character chooses the person that I don't like. Well, something like that.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
When it happens at the end. When the romance starts early, it gets a little boring for the story.

Romance-comedy are one of my favorite ones. But I'm not much of a romance persona though. >u>;;

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Some ecchi is good, but not all the time. It gets annoying for a period of time.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
really bad idea and good idea are my favorite endings.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
The main character should be strong and smart. Plain or cute/moe is gets a tad irritating for me...

alright here's my answers!~

-short manga
-light
-romance between two people
-middle
-romane comedy is pretty good, or romance fantasy. i guess romance itself is ok too...
-idk wat ecchi is, but if everyone says it's either bad or good, then i'm going with what they say
-tragic endings are an OK idea. i really love mangas with happy endings, but also some with quite tragic endings
-the main girl character should be normal, quiet, but strong, cute but NOT a mary-sue. please, don't make her little miss perfect.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
I like long ass ones, but I sometimes like short ones depending on my mood.
Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Light because I hate love triangles.
Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Mainly two, but for non serious ones I wouldn't mind a reverse harem with bishies.
Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Middle endish because romance signifies the end.
Romance-Comedy.
Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
No, definitely not.
Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Bad Idea.
Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?

Would you prefer a long manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapter[s).
I prefer a long manga 'cause its kinda exciting to read but sometimes I also like short manga. ( It's depending on the story. )

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
A light manga but i dislike lots of comedy.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
For me, mainly two people is better.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
I think the romance needs to be fast 'cause I always get bored when the romance is right at the end.

I prefer romance with another genre, but I do not dislike romance with a bit of extra sub-plot.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Ecchi is NOT necessary !

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
It depends on the story of the manga. But its a good idea to have a tragic ending on extra characters but not the main characters.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautif[ul?
I like main characters that are cute and moe or stong and smart than Plain man characters.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
I prefer a longer manga series, with the clause of little to no filler 'chapters', and that the story itself stays strong.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
I like a mix of the two, with a bit leaning more on light.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
mainly two people.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
fast to moderate. I don't want to find out about that romance that we(the readers) have been rooting for, and then right at the end, it's confirmed as cannon and the series ends.

I like to read things that have another genre as well - pure romance tends to leave me desiring a more in depth story. Fantasy, magic, seinen, martial arts and school life are some of my favorites mixed with the genre. Oh, and genderbent romance or even yaoi sometimes (ex: Your and My Secret[Ai Morinaga])

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Ecchi is sometimes cute or amusing in genderbent/yaoi stuff. I don't know, I always think the 'male' character blushing is cute(which happens almost exclusively in ecchi situations). In hetero/normal genres I find that I don't care about ecchi situations

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
somewhere between really bad idea and bad but tolerable idea. I can stand the idea of it, but so rarely is it executed in an original and meaningful way, that I'd rather not see it done at all. Death Note did the tragic ending thing well, but so many other series have done it poorly.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
In general I prefer one of two situations given a character's appearance. 1. genderbent/yaoi: pretty/beautiful. 2. other genres, plain with a splash of cute/pretty.
