Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
I prefer longer ones but some of the one shots I've read were enjoyable too. Well not as long as bleach or Naruto maybe as long as Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle which was about 28 vols.
Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
I would say a little bit of both
Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Hmm... This one is a bit tricky since I love reverse harems as well I'm going to say between mainly two people because that way you don't have to guess who the person will be with.
Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
I would say fast because that way we can see if it ends up working out as the relationship progresses instead of they kiss at the end and end of manga.
Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
I would say with another genre to make it more interesting like with fantasy and action comedy not soo much with me there are some I'll read for example maid-sama! but other that i won't with the comedy.
Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
In my opinion no but if there is some it doesn't bother me.
Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Depends if the tragic ending leads to something bigger in a positive way or I say no to tragic endings
Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
I prefer the main character especially if it female to have a backbone And she doesn't even have to be pretty. Sometimes I like the cute/moe characters but I prefer the strong smart ones

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Short.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Comedy.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
I despise reverse harem, so romance between two people.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
End.

Another genre, considering I dislike romance as the main focus for the most part, unless it's yaoi or yuri.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
I enjoy ecchi if it's done right.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
I hate sad things.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Depends on whether the main character is male or female, and what the manga is about.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Depends if the story is interesting, but most of the time a long one :)

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Serious stories keep my attention, but it has to have some comedy elements

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Hmmmm, I like both, but I'd say romance between just the two is what I prefer at the moment

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
The lead up, and the getting to know eachother, then realising how they feel is always good but it can't be tooo drawn out

Probably romance with other elements.. But there are some exceptions of course

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Most of the time it's not necessary, but it can add to the story and the atmosphere if it's done correctly

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
I like to see everything work out just the way I'd like, which is usually a happy ending, but I guess tragedy can be good sometimes..

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Hmmm, they should definitely be pretty/beautiful, and I kind of like when they do the whole 'we're strong and can stand on our own, and don't need your help' type of thing, and then they turn into a helpless, goofball around their crush or whatever.. If that makes sense..? Haha.. Cheeky characters are always good too (i.e Ikuto )

*Sometimes serious, sometimes light~

*Romaaaance

*Somewhere in the middle to follow proceedings and such..

*Both is okee.. but I prefer that focuses mainly on romance~

*Only sometimes.

*from time to time bad idea > only SOMETIMES tolearable// okay idea..

*Doesn't matter.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
yeah, as much as possible, I prefer more than 100 chapters ;).

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
mix of both but I love comedies more

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
reverse harem

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
how about in the middle? >:D

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
romance + comedy + shonen

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
nah

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
okay idea, I somehow loved the shows with tragic ending but it's sad... weird, huh?

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Plain is alright but making it cute will attract more readers..

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters)?
long manga, definitely :)

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
light, because i like to laugh :)

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
two people, and the occasional love triangle, it stirs things up a bit

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
i like it in the middle, therefore, we know that the guy and girl aren't completely stupid AND it gives time for something to happen toward the end :)

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
i prefer romance-comedy, because i like to laugh and a relationship has to have substance, not just sex or making out.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
personally, ecchi is NOT necessary, but i guess for perverts and other people, its aight.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
rreally bad idea, but tolerable... cuz IT KILLS ME INSIDE!

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
strong and smart; pretty-beautiful i like the girl in Fly High, cuz she kicks some major ass, but she's pretty while doing it

-Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Well, I wouldn't call 30-40 chapters really long, unless you mean volumes? If volumes are meant in both cases, then I'd say with the shorter ones, since looking at them is less daunting. (I have HOW many volumes of Hana Yori Dango to read?) If you actually do mean chapters, then... I like a higher number than just 40.

-Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
I can't lie, I usually prefer romantic comedy, so a little lighter with fluff is a nice read. This isn't to say I won't read serious, though.

-Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
This depends on what I'm in the mood for. If I want eye candy, the reverse harem. If I want a more engrossing story, then the couple romance works.

-Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Part of the fun is the buildup of the relationship, so don't rush it. If it's late in the series, that's fine, but if it's bam at the first volume, then where do you go from there?

-Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre
I think my mention of romantic comedy before answers this.

-Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Absolutely not. You can hook me in and make me cry without resorting to any peep shows...

-Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
It's... kind of a killjoy. I do read some that are, but it makes me feel remorse for the other character. While cliche, I like the thought of them being together "happily ever after."

-Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
For looks, plain is fine with me. Given my favorite series, though, I can deal with both ditsy (Miki from Marmalade Boy) and bright (Yukino from KareKano). So that doesn't matter.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Long, as it gives a better chance for plot and character development. Short stories can be fun if you don't have much time, though

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
A nice mix of both

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
I don't really mind one way or the other, as long it's done well

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Fast for a short series, slower for a longer one

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
Romance with another thing. Just romance is OK for oneshots or <5 chapter series though. It gets boring in anything longer.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
No, but it can be fun sometimes.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
As long as it's done well, it can be quite good. The Cain Saga did it really well.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
I hate stupid whiny moe blobs. I like characters who actually have a personality. Looks wise, I don't care too much as long as they're drawn well.

daaaaaanggg. this was posted in october of 3 years ago! lololol. i'll still do it anyways, even tho my opinion doesnt matter anymore.

>errrr length doesnt matter to me, only if it is really good would i like to have a long manga.
>either really serious, or really funny. having both just feels awkward.
>hmm this is tough. reverse harem if the character is not super weak or annoyingly strong, but normal, i guess. but if the character has a defining personality (ex. super aggressive or pitifully helpless) one possible partner is best.
>romance can be either fast with lots of drama (reverse harem) or at the end (2 people). i dont really care about that.
>romance with another genre can get more interesting/exciting/get a larger audience, but in romance alone you can focus more on relationships without having to worry about it getting too lovey-dovey.
>ecchi - not necessary at all, if this is for females.
>tragic endings are good if the manga is gonna be serious, but having a tragic ending after a comedy would just be a total downer. well, i guess that's what its supposed to do.. but u get what i mean!
>main female should be plain, even ugly! haha jkjk but it would be nice to see something a little different. however, pretty characters are more appealing. don't really care bout personality

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).

In the middle, but usually depends on the plot (:

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
I like lots of comedy, but no too much. So in the middle i dont like too serious it bores me out same with light.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).

I like reverse harem b/c of the bishes *w*, but mainly two people is fine, less sadness(?..?)

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
I like it to develop throught the story.

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
yea to make it more interesting/entertaining. I like a lot of comedy with a relationship/romance going on.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
i hate ecchi, so not nesscary at all!!!

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
To me it is a bad idea ;(. Its tolerable. but i hate tragic ending they are so sad, and just breaks my hearts there i dont want them, but its tolerable. ;( I like happily ever afters (>w>'')

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
I dont really care(actually I do.) I just dont want the girl to be plain stupid, falls into traps, acting cute and stupid i hate people like that. i want to be smart and strong, i dislike weaklings who cant stand up for themselves, and only depend on guys..i want strong charcters. :\'

my opinions just for a reminder

Would you prefer a long ass manga or a shortish manga .
Long. How is 30-40 chapters long though ? . . . Maybe I gone crazy from ready the big three. . . -___-

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light ?
Either is fine. I like comedy, but not when it becomes ridiculous.

Which one's better, reverse harem or just romance between mainly two people.
Between 2 people. Reverse harem pisses me off because the girl never ends up with who I like.

Should the romance be fast or right at the end?

If it's slow like The wallflower and Kimi ni Todoke, I go crazy. I literally scream out "JUST TELL HIM/HER YOU HIM/HER ALREADY!"
But it depends. I like a nice pace of romance.

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about.

With another genre. I can't stand all that mushy corny romance crap, unless I feel extra bored.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.

No. Ecchi is pretty annoying. I don't feel happy seeing a girl's cleavage, chest, or panties.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
I like tragic endings that make me want to cry and make me emotional and 'they live happily ever after' endings I really hate, but at the same time I don't like it for making me cry my manry tears ; ^ ;

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?

Okay. I hate the naive, innocent, klutz, and bubbly idiots as the heroine. I don't want a tsundere one either. A strong girl who can stand up for herself and does NOT get any weaker as the story goes on wins my vote. Looks, Idc.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
long. make it as LONG as possible.
Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
light. I can't stand serious stuff.
Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
mainly two people. I hate harems cuz I can't keep up with what just happened with who.
Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
well, if you go too fast, eventually the couple will run out of romantic stuff to do(that a thirteen year-old could read)
This connects to the question above. They need a story so they're busy, and don't decide to get busy(If you know what I mean).
Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
No idea what that is, so I'm gonna say not necessary.
Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
I hate tragic endings. If you want me to go on a rampage and kill the creators, make it tragic.
Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
I like strong girls better because if someone's teasing the main character and she's cute and innocent(*cough*helpless*cough*), I want to march in there and kick them both in the shins. Get a backbone, you stinkin' heroines!

Main character should be funny, oblivious, smart, looks plain (but add juss a lil make-up and she's frekkin gorgeous lol) Maybe like Kyouko from Skip Beat, and Risa from Love Com, or the main female character from Beauty Pop
