Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Long ass.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
More serious. Comedy is okay, but I hate it when there's too much. D:

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Romance between two people.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Both kinds are okay. I prefer right at the end though.

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
A story that focuses mainly on romance.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
I don't like ecchi. :L

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
It's okay as long as the manga is good.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
I don't care.
As long as the manga is good.

--->Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).

Long ;3

--->Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?

Hmm...Average.

--->Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).

Ahh that's hard :|. Let's see I choose reverse harem

--->Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?

Well both but I suppose I choose the middle ;3 hehe sorry I rather have it the middle or end.

--->Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).

I would like romance-action or romance-comedy. But not just romlmance alone. That's too boring for me :P.

--->Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.

Well I don't believe it's necessary but it's funny at times.

--->Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?

Bad idea but tolerable. Depending on the manga

--->Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?

Well I'm picky when it comes to art style :/. So it doesn't really matter unless I don't like the art style.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Depends on the story.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
some comedy would be good if its not a comedy/gag manga.. but I also read comedy/gag manga

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
I dont read this kind of materials

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Not my cup of coffee..but then I prefer slowly developing love. otherwise it will not be too convincing for me.

Not focuses on romance. has only one or two couples.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
NO

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
depends on how it was executed. tolerable.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
I prefer someone who is not Stereotypical...like Nino from arakawa under the Bridge.

fast
Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
actually, i don't read romance manga uhh so no?
Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
ecchi not necessary but if it will make the story better then why not?
Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
okay idea. because it always depend on the story line. some stories are better with sad/tragic endings and some aren't.
Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
personally i don't like moe-ish characters that much, even though they are cute they always annoy me. i like the character better is she's strong and smart, like the one who can stand up for herself.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Short. I don't exactly have the free time to read something long and they tend to take forever to get to the point.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Really depends on my mood. Horror is my favourite genre and I love it when series touch on darker subjects, but I also enjoy a good comedy. Over all though, I'd say serious.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Um, neither. Hahaha. ;;
Manga that focus on romance bore me to death.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Slow progression while maintaining realism is best! ...So long as the heroine/hero and the love interest aren't doing the typical tsundere crap. /:

Most importantly, do you prefer romance with another genre (like romance-action or romance-fantasy, romance-comedy etc. Basically stories like Vampire Knight, La Corda D'oro, and School Rumble) or a story that focuses MAINLY on romance with a bit of extra sub-plot that you don't really care about (Special A).
I don't like romance at all, really. If a series has a good love story attached to an already interesting plot, then it's bonus for me. If not...well, I'm not missing much.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Sex is a part of normal human relationships and so long as it's tasteful, then I don't see why not to include it. -and I love a nice set of breasts just as much as the next person, but can we please stop with the physics defying ladybits?

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Depends on the story. If a tragic ending fits with the theme/tone of the story, then there is really no reason for anyone to get upset over it happening. Then again, I'm a sucker for tragedy. Hamlet was my homeboy.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
She can be whatever the hell the author wants so long as she isn't fanservice pandering and written as an actual human with flaws and strengths.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Long, so you can develop the story better. If it's short though, it can be extremely interesting if the loose ends are left up to the reader.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)? Preferably a mixture of both, but since it's only one choice, serious.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
I simply loathe Fushigi Yuugi and anything by that manga-ka (I feel she's the Stephanie Myers of the manga world) and I hate Itazura na Kiss as well (HOW many times has this plot been done?)...But I like both if they're done well. Saiunkoku Monogatari is a good example of an extremely well done reverse harem (but it's Josei) and Cardcaptor Sakura was very cute with the main couple and done well (but of course it's Clamp..)

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end? The end absolutely. Hints are fine, and subtlety is great as well, but TOO MANY shoujo's have the main character falling for a guy five seconds after she meets him (Fushigi Yuugi anyone?). Unless it was like Fruits Basket where Kyo and Tohru knew they loved each other, but only waited till the end of the manga to say and do anything about it.

Romance in mangas is typically over-rated, and that tsundere crap is annoying and overused. But yeah, mainly on romance = FAIL for the most part, unless it's really done well and this is becoming rarer and rarer. A mix of everything is good. However, a manga like Victorian Romance Emma was mainly romance, actually it was a full romance but it was so well done, and it was like reading a classic romance novel from England. For anyone who is sick of the typical "romance mangas" this is for you. Not to mention the art is superb...But almost always, I don't like romance that much, and I wouldn't typically read an only-romance manga. Actually it's almost never...

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
Ecchi ruins almost everything unless it's like Chobits where it was perverted, but still a deep manga, with many interesting themes. Pervertedness in manga is completely stupid, and once again overdone for the most part especially when it involves little kids like in Gakuen Alice (which I hate.) Just idiotic. Gives people the wrong impression on couples, and what love should be. Sex in a manga is okay as long as it's not explicate or detailed - done a bit like Nana I suppose. But I hate to see young characters engaging in that...Call me a prude or whatever but it's sweet to me if they do that when they're older or married lol.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great? Depends on the story again. Sometimes it sucks, sometimes it's a bittersweet twist..Depends really. Princess Tutu's ending could be seen as tragic (it IS bittersweet), but it had to be done to keep with the theme of the story. Tsubasa ending was sad and bittersweet but totally necessary. Sailor Moon's manga ending again is bittersweet because somewhere in the distant future the characters will suffer and die.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful? MOE SUCKS. There I said it. Too many animes/mangas today have that "cute" "moe" character and it's incredibly annoying. Clannad anyone? I'd rather the main character be strong and smart and plain (though pretty and beautiful are fine) than a blubbering mass of moe-shit.) Maya from the old manga Glass Mask is totally plain, and not incredibly smart but she is such a great character nonetheless because her acting. and her passion brings her to life. Hinata from Naruto can be seen as moe but she can actually pull it off because she's not weak or annoying.

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).

It depends, i would first read whats the manga is about, then decide, i tried reading two mangas that are at least passed 100+ chapters, i ended up stop reading half, and picked it up again like two years after.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
Both, because i like both =)

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Hardly read any mangas that is reverse harem, so i would take romance.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?

Right at the end! Please that show how their feelings develop for each other!

I would like it to be combine, genre like romance-action/comedy.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.

Ecchi its not necessary. though, i don't mind if it has ecchi in it.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
tolerable, but the manga i usually read, it always have emotional parts in it, and it will make me cry.
But its a good thing, because it show that i am really into the manga, and it was worth to read.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
It doesn't matter o.O i read a manga that the main girl was very plain, plain girl doesnt mean they aint pretty or smart or cute.
(Love Strip) the main character, girl, was plain, but overall the manga was funny as hell! I read twice.

- it depends whether the story is captivating enough, it's quite frustrating when a manga series ends and it was really good XD

- I love comedy, it gets boring when it's TOO serious

- Reverse harems can get really complicated in certain cases but it only gives more adventure to ship couples XD

- neither, I hate it when they fall in love in the beginning and then love at first sight's a load of crap but I'd say nearer to the beginning

- Sub-genres are important for me but they must be more focused on the romance.

- unnecessary ecchi (such as random panty-shots) can get pretty annoying but yeah, most of my anime is ecchi XD

- okay idea

- I don't mind as long as they're not too pessimistic or too optimistic

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
Long is prefered (100+ chapters)Depends if they're getting anywhere with the story. I don't wanna go through 7 chapters of nothing but straight fighting just for them to realize they're on equal footing and wanna be BFFs. No! I want a hint of mystery and tearjerkers! (O,O;) I like most genres of manga as long as they're actually getting somewhere.

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
A mix of both. Can't be serious all the time or i'd get mad.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
Preferably between two people, but this can vary (e.i. TWOGK)

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
Steady until the end.

I prefer Romance-fantasy or comedy, but others can be included.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
No, it isn't necessary AT ALL! Funny occasionally, but overused.

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
Okay idea. I'd remember the manga if it was good with a heartbreaking ending.

Should the main character be cute and moe or strong and smart? Plain or pretty or beautiful?
Female: Cute, strong and smart. With a weapon... Not all teary eyed and sad...Just so sad and weak. UGH! DX
Males: Kind, strong, funny. Even those occasional obsessive ones. Not too crazy about the depressing mystery guys though O.o

Would you prefer a long ass manga (like maybe about 30-40 chapters) or a shortish manga (say around 10 to 15 chapters).
long manga because if its a good story i never want it to end!

Would you prefer a story that's more serious or light (ie. lots of comedy)?
it has to be a little dramatic with a decent amount of comedy. if its all serious its boring or depressing.

Which one's better, reverse harem (like Fushigi etc) or just romance between mainly two people (like Itazura na Kiss).
reverse harem. keeps the reader guessing who the girl will end up with i think.

Should the romance be fast (like early on in the manga) or right at the end?
i think it should be hinted near the beginning but build up gradually.

I like anime with a sub genre but i dont have a particular fav genre. I liked vampire knight, la corda d'oro, Ouran highschool, skip beat, fruits basket, and absolute boyfriend.

Then I also wanna know if ecchi is necessary.
not necessary. sometimes it can distract from the story and the great story line is the reason im reading it

Tragic ending: really bad idea, bad idea but tolerable, okay idea, good idea, great?
