i think that is because she knows that she has other responsibilities -- to her family, etc. unfortunately, you can't just always ignore those things.

Like roma0303 said, you can't just ignore your committments. I think the fact that they didn't just go off into the sunset was what was really great about this drama. I think that while they did have incredible chemistry and did really care for one another, those feelings were driven by other things.

For Kozue, her feelings were driven by the fact that she felt she hadn't really accomplished what she wanted to in life and the fact that this gorgeous young man was so enamored of her was almost intoxicating. It was validating to be so desired by Takuma. But she realized that her morals were such that she just couldn't follow her emotions.

For Takuma, he had a void having lost the physical ability to dance - the one thing that gave his life meaning. He also had people, especially ladies, fawning all over him and he pretty much could get whatever he wanted out of them. The fact that Kozue was not like that was very attractive to him. He felt she was someone who could see Takuma the person, not Takuma the dancer.

Like he said, too bad that didn't meet in another place and time. I loved this show because it wasn't an unrealistic happlily ever after. Many times in life, things just don't turn out that way.

thanks for the brief synopsis, now I don't have to watch the series. I kinda lost interest, but I wanted to know how it ended and you helped a bunch, thanks.
