"The temple is in sight, you ready?"
"Yeah, I'm ready."
"Remember Slash, the thing is guarded by a level seven virus."
"I know, but that sword is well worth it. One of the twenty treasures. The sword that produces great eletric power and allows the wielder to move very fast."
"If you ask me, it doesn't sound like it's worth it."
"Don't worry Arrow. I promise nothing will go wrong."
The party of two, Arrow and Slash, were heading for the floating temple of Lintra so Slash could acquire the sword of lightning, one of the twenty treasures.
Arrow was of the ranger class, using explosive arrows as well as other types, Slash was of the basic warrior class who used short blades for quick movements.
"Readings show no other users here."
"Alright, prepare to land."
The two steadily landed their small ships on a flat space at the temple entrance. Made of a shining yellow material, the temple almost looked like an upside down hive.
Two massive statues decorated the entrance. The temple was said to be like a maze and was home to a level seven virus.
Viruses ranged from levels one to ten. One being the weakest, ten being the most powerful, like two viruses that were X's right hand viruses.
The shield glass opened and the two jumped out of their small ships.
"Alright, let's go." Slash said with grin.
The two descended into the dark temple unknowing of what awaited them.
Torches lit the halls, strange symbols were all over the walls, and a strange smell filled the air.
"Damn, you smell that?" Arrow asked.
When it came to skills and attributes Arrows was high for senses and staying alert.
"I don't smell anything."
"Well I'm smelling something scorched. As if a user got here, but was."
"Don't continue please." Slash covered his ears.
Arrow stopped and grabbed Slash's shoulder throwing him down and dropping to the ground.
A large bolt of electricity shot over their heads.
"What the hell was that!?" Slash yelled.
Arrow got up and reached for a small bar. Pushing a button two curved poles came out from the bars ends forming a bow with a energy string.
"That." Arrow said drawing an arrow from his back case.
Slash got up and drew a short sword. The blade was outlined with a plasma energy that delivered quiet a decent amount of damage.
"The virus that guards the sword right?" Slash asked.
"Yep. Seems to use electricity."
A skinny figure slowly walked forward. Body made of a yellow steel and a a long rode coming out of its arm acting like a lightning rode. A horn coming out of its forehead and curving back and bright red eyes with a devilish grin.
"Intruders!" It yelled as it rose its arm and shot out another bolt of electricity.
"Duck!" Arrow yelled.
Slash dropped down and Arrow did also.
He quickly got aim and shot one of his arrows, an explosive one.
As the arrow flew towards the virus it exploded about six feet away from it.
"What the?"
"Weak! Your arrows are worthless!"
Arrow and Slash got up to their feet and Arrow took a step back.
"Slash."
"What?"
"Run!" Arrow yelled as he started running down a hall with Slash behind him.
The virus started running to catch up with them.
"Damn it! we just had to run into that thing. The last time we thought a level seven virus was when we in the desert!" Slash said as he and Arrow ran through multiple halls corridors.
"Slash, go down till you find a corridor on your left, turn right through there and then swing another left at the first left corridor you find." Arrow said stopping with a slide.
"What are you doing!?"
"You go, I'll slow him down. You have been searching for this thing for so long. If you get it, the administer will accept you as one of the elite users. Now go!" Arrow drew out three explosive arrow and pulled back, ready to fire when the virus came into sight.
"A, Arrow."
"Don't worry Slash. I won't die. I promise. The administer needs as many talented and powerful users as he can get. And you are to be one of them."
Slash looked at Arrow and nodded.
"Arrow, thank you." Slash said as he started to run off.
Arrow smirked and closed his eyes.
At the other end of the hall the virus walked down slowly.
"Weak user left you to die."
"He is not weak, you are." Arrow grinned launching the three arrows.
The arrows blew up within six feet of the virus.
"Fool, my electric field can absorb or destroy projectiles."
"That was a distraction."
The smoke cleared and four arrows were shot at the ground, both walls and the ceiling. Exploding, huge ice clusters grew and trapped the virus within their spikes.
"Ah! Bastard!" The virus yelled stabbing its electric pole into the ground.
Arrow drew a very narrow and thin arrow.
Electricity was going through the ground and went straight for Arrow. Before the blast reached Arrow, he shot his arrow and was unaffected by the electric field.
"Damn it." The virus said as the arrow went through the viruses forehead.
The electricity reached Arrow and was released in one massive blast that took out a small section of the maze.
Falling to his knees, Arrow laughed a bit before falling onto his side.
"Go on Slash, claim your rightful place, as an elite, user." Arrow closed his eyes as his body grew flat and sharps ends like a bunch of squares formed his body. The sides flipped up one by one as he slowly disappeared.
Slash ran down the hall and stopped hearing the explosion.
"Arrow." Slash said quietly and shook his head.
Continuing down the hall he shed few tears knowing of what happened to Arrow.
Reaching the final corridor Slash walked in to see a shrine, with the sword of lightning.
Speechless, he walked slowly to it and reached out, grabbing the handle.
"Arrow, I promise you. I will fight in your name, and bring help bring the end to this game." Slash said lifting the sword.
Light and easy to wield, the sword was a light gold color and engraved in strange symbols. The blade opened length wise and a large burst of electricity engulfed him, and then making him disappear with the sword. Just as he vanished, the shrine started to vanish also.
Reappearing at the entrance, Slash looked at the blade as it closed.
"What, just happened?"
Like a viscous disease, the temple was disappearing a unbelievable rate.
Seeing data fly away Slash panicked and quickly jumped into his fighter.
"So, the sword brought me back huh?"
The jets turned on and he started to lift off, looking down at Arrows ship. Vanishing before him, the temple was gone in a matter of seconds. Arrows fighter began a free fall down to the desert below.
"Arrow, thank you."
Slash smiled as he flew off into sky and back to the main city.

"Sir, a large portion of data has vanished."
"Hm, what is it?"
"Looks like the Lintra temple is gone."
"Gone? Well then, looks like someone got the sword. Begin a search for the user who has it. We can use a guy like him."

"So, the Lintra temple is gone?"
"Yes master. But, isn't the Sword of Lightning one of the weaker items out of the twenty treasures?"
"Of course. It doesn't matter if this user has it because with your sight, you can see even the most stealthy users."
"Plus, the sword is not as strong as my Flare Fang right?"
"The Sword of Lightning only gives great electric damage and quick movements. Your Flare Fang is most destructive and powerful. So there is no need to worry of this user, got it?"
"Yes, master."
"Besides. There are other users to worry about besides this one."

The right shoulder of a virus was blown apart. Stumbling back a bit it looked around as it grabbed its shoulder.
"Wanna finish it?"
"Sure."
From the top of a sand dune a figure dressed in light brown clothing ran down with two revolvers. Running to the stumbling virus the figure opened fire and fired all twelve rounds at the virus.
Falling to the ground the virus evaporated into data.
From the hill ran down another figure, dressed much like the one with the revolvers. These two were dressed in light brown western trench coats and wore cowgirl like cloths suited for bandits and each wore a cowgirl hate and both wore brown cloth arm gloves that went to their elbows..
Haruka and Hikaru, known as the Andraste Sisters. Haruka was a bit shorter then her sister Hikaru and had shoulder length hair and well as a black eye patch over her right eye with a diamond embedded in it. Skilled with the sniper and shotgun, Haruka is the more ranged and hard impacting sister, but she also carries a jagged hunters knife and magnum.
Hikaru was tall and had back length brown hair. Around her neck was a necklace with a silver cross with Christ on it. Hikaru was skilled with smaller weapons like revolvers and pistols as well as a long sword. Hikaru was also good with using speed and agility when fighting with virus's.
"I'm getting tired of taking out weak virus's, why don't we go look for one that's on the wanted list?" Haruka asked in a complaining why with her sniper over her shoulder.
"Like who? We can't go after one like Creep. That damn beetle has been taking out users in the desert as if they were mice to a hawk." Hikaru said as she reloaded her revolvers.
"Oh come on, it's just a stupid bug."
"Haruka, we are only level fifty, and Creep is a class seven virus."
"Class seven? We took on class seven virus's before."
"Well, this one has powerful ability that we won't stand a chance against, that's burrowing."
"It can hide in the sand, so what?"
Hikaru shook her head thinking of how Haruka was a complete idiot.
"That thing is a earth virus. I can use the sand as its armor. By doing that, we have to break through sand and its hard armor skin."
Haruka thought for a moment and came up with an idea.
"We can have Verge blow him out of the ground."
"Verge is a high class level eighty-seven user. Why would he waste his time to help us?"
"We're buddies with him right? I'm sure he'll help us out."
"Hm, his rockets are very powerful, each costing ten-thousand points. I guess we can ask him to help us out." Hikaru brought up her wrist and pulled up a holographic screen from her watch. She went through the options and sent Verge an email asking for his assistance.
"Well then, why don't we head back to get a drink or two?" Hikaru asked.
"Sounds good to me!" Haruka said in an excited mood as she ran ahead of Hikaru.
"Another round!" Haruka yelled.
"I think you've had enough." Hikaru said seeing her sister get drunk.
"Oh come on, we made a ton of points from our last hunt. We still have enough for ammo, don't worry." Karuka said as she leaned over and held Hikaru's shoulder.
Hikaru sighed as she pushed her aside as she got up leaving the bar. Crossing her arms she looked up at the sun and clear sky. Looking over at a wanted poster on the bars outside wall she saw the bounty of one million points for a users capture.
The user was Black Blade or B.B. for short, a master blade user who uses knives and is said to have one of the twenty sacred items, Cloak of Infinity. He uses only knives and a small dual blade. He has claimed over two hundred members and has even killed class eight virus's and one class nine virus. With this user being at a high level one hundred ten.
"I'm not surprised they haven't got him yet. It's like he's a class nine virus or something."
Haruka stumbled out of the bar and leaned against Hikaru.
"What are you looking at?"
"Nothing, let's go." Hikaru put an arm around Karuka and helped her walk as they went down the dirt road of the city.

A knife flew across the dimly lit room. The knife pinned a poster with a users face on it. The wall the poster was on had even more posters, all printed out as profile photos. Most had a knife in them and some were knife less.
"Weak, weak, weak. All of them are weak. " A man dressed in a black cloak and a large black musketeer hat stood up from his wooden chair. His body was shrouded in darkness and his face covered in shadows except for one eye that was lit up. This was the famous Black Blade. Master of blades and the one who uses the Cloak of Infinity.
"The only thing I get out of this is experience and points, but no challenge. No challenge at all."
B.B. stepped toward a wooden desk and quickly drew drew two knives and stabbing the desk with the each knife going through a poster. These posters had the administers face and a shaded face with a red X on it.
"You two, are the only ones who will put up a fight."

In an apartment building was a stone room furnished few belongs like closets and a lab with gear and working equipment
The Andraste Sisters sat on a couch that faced another one. A small coffee table separated them and Verge sat in the other one.
"So, you want me to help you hunt down this one virus?"
"Yeah." Hikaru said breaking a smile.
Verge looked at the sisters, "Nah, I think I won't."
"What?" Haruka said in a confused voice.
"I told you Haruka."
"But, I will give you guys a little something." Verge said getting up and walking over to a closet and pulled out a wooden crate.
"I'll give you two a small gift." Verge placed the crate in front of the sisters.
Inside were small boxes of bullets for guns like revolvers, shotguns, snipers, hand guns, automatics and uzis.
"Ammo?" Hikaru asked in a confused manner.
"These, are armor piercing bullets. Top notch ammo. Good for all kinds of guns."
"Sweet." Haruka said grabbing a box for her shotgun and sniper as well as her magnum.
"But, how will we pay you back?"
"Just take care of that virus. You can have all this ammo if you want."
"Are you serious? But, we can't carry all of this." Haruka said with a sigh.
"Don't worry, I'll put in your weapon storage."
"Thanks a lot Verge." Hikaru said with a smile.
"No problem, beside I've got more were that came from."
"Knowing you I'm not surprised." Hikaru said with a laugh.
The sand was still, the wind was dead, and the air had a slit chill.
"When you see the sand move, take the shot."
"Got it." Haruka had her eye looking through her snipers scope as they watched the sand were Creep was said to hide.
Hikaru used binoculars to scan the area but so no motion.
For a second, a bump rose in the sand.
"Got it!" Haruka yelled as she left off a shot. Sand flew up from the shot and a massive object rose from the sand.
A giant golden scarab shook its body in confusion from the shot. On its back was a dent, not a hole.
"Damn, it's armor is really strong." Haruka said in frustration as she unloaded more shots.
"Keep shooting, I'll go in for a more direct attack.
"Careful!"
Hikaru slid down the dune they were on and started running for the scarab.
The scarab looked at Hiakru and stepped forward with its large pincers but stepped back from shots from Haruka.
Hikaru stopped for a second and saw something on the back of its leg. The back of the scarabs legs which were in the shade were grey and looked like basic steel.
Hikaru aimed and shot the back of its legs. The bullet went right through and out the other side. Her eyes widened of shock of seeing the bullet go through so easily.
"So simple. This beast like a class two once its weakness is found." Hikaru said as she ran and dove under the beast. On her back she shot the scarabs stomach. All twelve bullets went right through its body and the beast started to stumble. Getting out from under the beast she leaped out into the sun and watched it stumble and fall over. Moving a bit the scarab showed life still.
"Shoot under its head!"
Haruka aimed and shot one shot that blew out the scarabs core or brain.
No a piece of desert trash the scarab evaporated into data.
"They don't call us the Adraste Sisters for nothing!" Haruka yelled out in pride as she stood up.
Hikaru laughed a bit a nodded.

"Admite it, you are a wannabe."-Slash
"Oh man, you guys are so cruel..."-Mace
"Hahaha!"-Haruka
