I really like it. Not only is it really dark, but it gives off a unique feeling. The first episode starts off with Casshern telling Luna that he's going to kill him. That alone kinda makes you wonder wth is going on and the storyline doesn't help either because the next thing you know Casshern is killing robots. I love how this anime is going. Not only is the storyline very dark and intriguing, but the art is simply breath taking. I would rate this 9/10 just because I'm not too sure where this is leading.

Casshern is the the bestnew show out right now.
i was really diggin Blade of Imm. until i stumbled upon this.
The intertwing stories of people dealing with their own "new mortality" is dope.
the 1st 3 eps were almost poetic.
there are so many layers and dimensions to each ep.

i really can't say enough good things about Casshern Sins.

So should i watch the movie? or will it spoil the mystery for me? i like the fact that i'm discovering Cassherns past as he does. whats the official name of the movie and is it subbed?

instead of the action based anime back then in the 70's./..
this one seems to shows more on mature subjects...
definately good for a person who enjoys reading books about ethics

I like it, for all of its depressing-ness. It's very sad...you can't help but feel sympathy for Casshern...but when you think of "what would I do if I were there", there isn't really anything. It really makes you think about what it is to be human. I wonder about Casshern too...but mostly I wonder how long he's going to have to suffer.

Has an old school feel with fresh animation, works well, I wanna see more characters rebooted like this.
Say for instance, Devilman , or Lupin III.

I think the Devilman OVA's still look pretty fresh. I think they look even better than some of the newer stuff in my opinion. And Lupin III has had a lot of sequels. I think Red vs. Blue is the newest one.

I mainly just want to see the Devilman manga fully animated the Ovas were good but I still want more of Nagais best work. As for Lupin I did not know they were still making new animation of his cool adventures, I may have to wiki to see what I have missed.

Agreed and the live action movie had potential but it lacked the dark, apocalyptic feeling of the manga. Which reminds me, I have to finish watching Devil Lady.

Enjoy. I watched up to episode 12 of that series and have yet to finish it. But it is pretty good.

I absolutely love this series. By far my favourite this season. Rebooted and started fresh, with amazing animation style, breath taking music, and with another different but kick ass story. What a well made anime, every scene has such beautiful artwork, i would re-watch it so much, and it would still amaze me. Episode 12 has got to be my favourite so far, closely followed by episode 8. I can't get enough of this series.

I love this show so far. The philosophic questions it raises along with the fresh animation makes it one of my favorites this season.

The only thing that really bugs me about it has to be the lack of amazing music. Now, the opening and ending are good, but the rest soundtrack doesn't stand out. It's too generic in a title that feels anything but. This title needs a soundtrack as memorable as the ones found in .hack//SIGN and Cowboy Bebop to match the beauty found in every other aspect of this show.

its great!! its soo rare to find any dark n somber animes/manga nowadays...... pls PM me if u hav any.

9/10. when it's dark, its an immediate fav!!!

we shouldnt even watch e live action. i think real ppl in suits jus sux.
1. they look like astronauts (uncool)
2. they will also look like power rangers (gross)

conclusion: live action should never cover heros in suits. they should stay where they should. in a beautiful anime like Casshern Sins.
