Yupp. Cut my own hair.
But when I need to change the style completely, I go to the hairdressers. I never end up COMPLETELY satisfied though. That`s why I get like the basic shape done there, come home, and pretty much cut a bit myself.

Oh yeah baby~ XD I totally cut my own hair =P
Infact, I haven't been to a hair salon in 3 and a half years or more.
Now people think I get my hair done professionally

I stopped going to my hairstylist because I wanted to grow my hair to my hips
and everytime I went, he would cut all of my new hairlength off.
It was really frustrating...

So then, I started cutting my own fringe, and then I tried some layering/thinning.
However, I mostly just let my hair grow during the first two years,
so I just trimmed the ends most of the time.
My hair during this period was really ugly because I had very little knowledge
about cutting techniques...and just haircutting in general.

Then starting last year, I began to layer my hair more dramatically.
I also began to watch a lot of haircutting demo videos, so I learned a lot of basic techniques.

But, it wasn't until half a year ago that I began developing my own style though.
My hair prior to that was still pretty typical looking.
It was also during this time in which I really improved on my technique and skill.

At the beginning of this period,
I would take 2 to 2 1/2 hours to do a full haircut.
Now, I only take an hour and a little more.

yea i have been cutting my own hair. The only problem is the back which is well HARD. Any suggestion?

O i noe this is out of topic but how do males grow their sides, cuz my hair grows out like a mushroom like rather than being long it has lots of layers which is quite annoying. My front and top is perfectly fine with gatsby so just my stupid sides...
