I agree.. I believe a physically abused kid with bad company and addicted to drugs has a high possibility to be violent than a kid who's playing GTA IV for several hours...

It could be a factor, but i think it's the upbringing of the individual which makes them violent or not.

I think you would have to be an exceptional F-ing tool to allow a game to influence you in a negative way.

I guess it depends on the person and if he/she can tell the difference between the virtual world and the real world haha but then again gamers tend to go crazy haha lol

Actually if you look for studies about violence and video games. Most studies find that the people who have any kind of violent behavior do one of the following. Play extremely violent games for more than like 8 hours a day. Or these kids play none at all.

If you remember a while back there was a shooting at uhhh Virginia.. in some college. Anyway when they asked that guys roommates if he played any video games, they said that he didn't.

Point being do some research you will find that most studies conclusively say that video games do not cause violent behavior.
