Image No ppl just use certain violent games as a excuse to get out of going to jail for doing a bad crime. Alot of ppl r crazy or killers simply because of the way that they grew up, and the abuse, drugs, or alchol that was around them while they were growing up.

I don't think so. I play many violent games, and I couldn't even hurt a fly without having regrets. I think you have to be an agressive person to begin with in order to be violent, video games have nothing to do with it.

Video games did not appear hundred of years ago. Violence is not something that is new in human behavoir, it exist within all living beings. I beleive its more of a nature and nuture kind of thing.

No, it's the person's fault... video games are meant to be seen as form of entertainment.. some for educational purposes... It's NOT suppose to motivate you to do something violent... gamers SHOULD know that. There are peeps who have severe mental issues or just the plain bad, ignorant-arrogant type... the problem is when they become the end users of violent video games. It COULD pose as one of the factors if they were to do something dangerous to themselves or to the society in general. I'm hoping not, but if something like that happens... should people start blaming the game industry? Ofcourse not.. it's like asking for novel writers to stop publishing books because a criminal based his murder off a novel ... and severely nutsy people have done that.

It is possible. If that person thinks and believe that the game world and the reality are just the same... Therefore, there is a possibility that he or she will apply those violent things (from games) in real life.

But. Like what others said... It truly depends on the person. There are many instances, reasons that can result to ones violence. He or she maybe frustrated about something or someone and was unable to control his or her anger or aggressiveness thus leads to violence.

Depends on the environment he or she lives.

Other reason is, he or she is violent maybe due to his or her mental problem/ disorders (crazy, retard, etc.) wherein this person doesn't know or unaware that he or she is being violent to others. (Their mind is unable to process things in a right way.)

Yes, I know what people is going to rant against my point, but here it is either way:
People think they help you taking out all that rage, or whatever and make you feel better. Wrong. It actually feeds that anger, rage, or need to destroy or kick something. Think of it as candy, people think giving candy to a kid that can't calm down will help making him settle, but no, it will only make him more hyper. Now, physical activities really help you take all that anger and bad things out without hurting others. Have you heard of the many cases of children/teenagers who kill others, or do bad stuff because they have been playing violent games in excess? Well those are just some examples.

rated M for MATURE

if you got 10 years old blowing peoples heads off and they adapt a sense of that being OK,then its the parent or guardians fault for allowing them to play it.
