I say it's because of sexual frustration 
Although one game that has had a few implications through violence has been a MMORPG "Tibia" 2d game thats pretty popular developed by Cipsoft (Germans). Polish kid beat up his mom after she switched the computer off while he was PG'n at a spawn. Another one a wife beat up her husband for neglecting her (though i suppose thats what you'd expect to happen to the guy if that happened).
As well as this there was an incident where two boys from the same school were playing the same server and helping each other one beat the other so badly he was disfigured over an arguement about who had the better character so I guess it's to do with obsession another to do with the relationship with the person from negligence. |

Holy crap, I am so sick of seeing this topic everywhere. Not only does it portray to video games but music genres as well.
I, for one, do NOT think violent games reflect on a persons WILL and CHOICE to do something. When people do things they make a choice, and I assume they have enough sense to tell right from wrong at the age appropriate for buying "M" rated/violent games anyways.
I mean, honestly, would you jump off a bridge and assume it's okay because you can do it in a video game?
Hell no...not unless I have some extra lives.

I dunno... I'm bad at things like this but my opinion is it depends on the person... Maybe most people play violent games cos they're violent and they get to like it? Sorry, just my opinion... I dunno if I'm right nor wrong...

Yes. I'm sure it is 1 reason for some cases. But I don't think it's the main reason. It's asking if it's "one" reason. I'm sure it can be a reason for some cases.
