what's ur opinion on the program?
personally i found the program to be very good and it had a lot of features to it that made it superior to any other video editing program i have used but there was one problem. When i went to preview what my video would look like so far the video would always be really jerky and slow even on a Duel Core 2ghz processor with 2gb of 533mhz ddr 2 ram!!!!

so the only problem i have with it is it takes up too much power.

so what do u think about the program?

btw i use sony vegas 7 it's kicks ass!

Premiere has some good workarounds for driver/resolution presets based on camera model, but other than that it is no effin' prize. The big dogs run with Avid and FCP. If you less than 3 Adobe enough to give them all your money, get After Effects instead and you can have some fun.

I only have Premiere because it is so easy to pirate

I have found Adobe Premier to work best with my p2p Card Camera, the HVX200. Honestly Avid has issues on the PC, especially with the latest digital cameras. Final Cut Pro is also fairly good, problem is its on a Mac, and I cant stand Mac'n'Trash. Everything I can do on a Mac, i can do better on my PC plus with more options. The full Adobe creative suite is near perfect for the professional as well as the beginner.
