My friend, naruto_700 was kind enough to do the research and send this list to me this a.m, and I thought it would make a good thread topic, since weapons have been used in martial arts for 1000s of years. If you have training in certain weapons or pictures of MA weapons, please add here! THX! -LS-
(he sent along nice pix, but they would not copy here, Ill get them on, but it may take some time!)

friend,perhaps i can help u with the martial arts weapons w/pics...

*ahem*good modern fighters,fight lovers and fight enthusiest,my name is naruto_700and im also a modern fighters and a martial arts lover,im the one who sent and research some of the classic and modern martail arts and weapons used during ancient times, im aslo a logical person,love history and scientific stuff,and i also used science also in martial arts...oh right!!

here r some of the first batch of weapons w/c i research last night hope u like and choose one of the weapons for ur training:

favorite weapons

the arnis , the pocket-stick,the staff, the cointoss, nunchuk, the jacket/or coat, the fighting fan, the belt, and the shield oh yeah hoping to learn how to use a chair

find a great way to apply them in household things, or anything in your suroundings.

This is a weapon that I have been trained to use, Its small and kept on a keyring. It can be used to gouge or jab or scratch,or as a fist stabalizer. It's called a kubotan. Small, but effective in defense!

does it make sound like the flute? lol jk. hmmm....its use is comparable to the short knives or blades women used to carry in Japan during its past eras

tats a weird weapons, and looks so familiar,it looks just like the iron ring(its a weapon not a movie)

the iron ring:its a 12 in. w/ 2 pointed tips on each end,it has the ability to twirl and used to defend on upcomin attack,it has a ring on the center to help it twirl,its ability to stab on any pressure points...

oohh i love nunchuks!!.. i never learned how to use kamas.. but i want to buy baat san do's (butterfly short swords)
and i use the arnis, and bow also everyday.. great for reflexes!!!

yo starting to tomortow i'm gonna add 30 min or half an hour of weapons, and improvise weapons to my arsenal.. I really want to learn how to use a chair!!!!!
