Japan, yeah!

But on a more serious note...

...Time to crash your dreams! You know, it would be rather difficult if you don't know the language of the country you're trying to make a career in - as well as an in depth idea of the culture. Becoming a director in itself is already difficult, but doing it in a country you have no idea about will make it twice as hard. You have to make media based on your target audience, and if there's a language/culture barrier you're going to have a really hard time. Unless you know Korean/Japanese, I wouldn't really recommend either. Or I guess you could dedicate a long hard road to it... Although, I hear both countries are rather bitter to foreigners. You could always make... y'know... Philipino Dramas... :P
