I'm completely blown away - did they have that grandmaster plan at the beginning, like 1999 when they started writing? Jeez, the sheer brain power of CLAMP makes me want to crawl in a bed, take a nap, wake up, nap again and then awake to reevaluate my own style of storytelling. Perhaps I should just give up my dream to be a published author now. I clearly don't have what it takes. Okay. Got that outta my system That said, Wata-kun is made to look the way he does on purpose though why he happens to look like Clow is still a bit fuzzy for me. Personally I love Syaoran's whole sacrificing for the girl thing but honestly? Wata-kun is so much realer. You could totally crack jokes with Watanuki where Syaoran would probably just...not. Not get the jokes, not laugh, whatever. They're both cool though.

It has to be connected or the whole world will implode itself due to CLAMP trying to write some sense in their mangas. Amusing. Either way if I could try to pick apart what insanity they're inflicted is that Watanuki and Syaoran share the same existence. Watanuki came to existence because of an wish Syaoran had made. Affecting the other. Though different in personality, looks, the existence is the same and as depicted in the manga Watanuki is meant to look like an younger Clow Reed. So even though they're share that same existence they're both completely different and both going towards an different route and future that are still connected towards each other. Oh god...my explanations are terrible.
