Yes, it hurts very badly 4 both genders and, for me maybe once in a while when it happens by accident I'll let out a few giggles but I would never intentionally hit someone in that area, that just seems like a stupid thing to do.

Well...both genders seems to laugh whenever a guy gets hit in the groin. Except for the victim...like once, I was goalie for P.E. and this girl got through our defense. And ended up 10 feet away from me, she decided to kick it there...I thought it was heading towards my stomach so I placed my hands infront. Let's just say the ball went faster and lower then the expected. I was gone for like 20 minutes of the game.

why is it funny for girls cause guys act all tough and macho that could be my only guess.
but it is a little funny if the guy is being a dumb ass and doing back flips off a lamp post and on the 3rd time his feet slipped off the post. all i could muster to say was ouch then you feel sorry for him when all the girls huddle around and start pointing and laughing at him.
