It isn't my fault if you can't tell a good joke. -_- For future reference, telling a lameass joke like that when the person is so obviously serious is NOT a good idea.

Yeah, you're right. I should just go before you tell another stupid joke. ^^ Try to work on that, hon.

LMAO at the joke intended to cure seriousness. You obviously need some time with friends, go get some.

No, School grade does not define your intelligent. They just teach you and you do your best to learn and go to college/university. A smart student can fail a class for being lazy, or make the teacher mad. Normal students can get good grade without study. The problem is the test and students teaching.

For Example, I got 2 F on 2 Essay just because of one error. I put Ly i but it suppose to be Ly 1. One simple mistake in my English class and it is an F, when you put your heading, Title, Double Space, 1 inch margin, etc. I still got a B and doing smoothly, but a 5 page Essay due next 2 week and if we don't do it we fail English for the whole year. Lack of education he would give, more then 20 students in our class didn't do their work. He just making us prepared for College but not giving well education. Goes to Geometry teacher who give more vocabulary then work, and Biology teacher where he would make you lose more point if you make mistake. "We doing a lab and we need ruler....John....where your ruler??? Well you should be prepared you will have to get an F (6o point gone) for this lab".

Ohh for math yes Im asian and Im doing good but it doesn't define that we Asian are always smart. Let me explain you about this. Most Asian familys want their son and daughter to do the best to go to College/University. Im one that doing my best.

Most Teachers teach in their own way and they can fail you easily. Most teachers are easy, but all teachers aren't equal. School can be used to show that your intelligent enough or not.

lol i never study in my life for math bc there is no way to study for math

Well, you see, math repeats itself. So I think it's pretty useful if you learn from your mistakes.

More than half of calculus, for example, is basically what you learned in algebra 1 and 2, and pre-cal combined together. That means if you don't know stuffs like factor or graph from algebra and pre-cal, you are not going to pass calculus.

As for study for math for tests, you find the review pages in your text book and start solving the problems. If there's anything that you can't solve, then that means time to bother the teacher

And no, I don't think school grades defines one's intelligence because the philosophy of elementary school to high school is "get the work done correctly and you get an A." Even if you learn nothing, understand nothing, and remember nothing, you still get an A because you've done your work.

Even if you flunk all the tests but you've done all the works, you still pass the class. Kind of nice, don't you think?

College is different. College is when the amount of work you do no longer matter, the result is what counts. And how will they determine that? By tests, of course. That means if you don't understand it, you better work extra hard; however if you are a genius, then have fun playing around.

IMO, school grade doesn't really show one's intelligence... it just showing how much time student spend their life for studying... but for some subject like math , physics, or other subject with calculation, the grade result showing student's intelligence level coz for those subject, student can answer it without have to study for ton of hours like other subjects... just my personal opinion though...

No, look at William Hung, book smart but that's it. No common sense. Didn't even know people were stealing his money. I saw him at the Wienerschnitzel here in my neighborhood and saw him at my college. No more money to go to Berkely

What exactly is intelligence? I think there isn't much definition for intelligence nowadays except for grade or point average. But grades doesn't show wisdom.
