I dont know what that means in english but, there is everything wrong with "lovein" a ford mustang, I mean ill skip the fact that i didnt mention anything about mustangs. I mean ok, maybe a 69 fastback is a worthwhile endeavor but, other than that the mustang bandwagon is full.

Lets take a look at Ford in general, they're built like shit, highly overpriced, unreliable.


Although a lot of their cars are built like shit, the v8 stangs (excluding the low-end GT and the 6cyl. standard stangs) are actually built quite well since they were pretty much their flagship vehicle.

and although heavy, don't forget that the Mach1 and Cobras can still eat a lot of would-be tuners alive.

Oh and several japanese companies also tune mustangs. They've also got a nice history. So please try not to say they are slow as balls when the only ones you've probably raced are the ones unattended in parking lots or on videogames, okay?

I did back when i bought it used and stock. Not exactly something that can take on a blown and blueprinted windsor-loaded '73 fastback right from the get-go. I haven't raced it at all since adding my comptech setup, and don't really intend to for a while.

You don't have to race them because they lose alot? Maybe they're just true-restorations rather than performance-oriented, or maybe you just get bugged by v6's pretending to be GT's with dual exhaust mods and GT badging?

Put the same $$$ in a v8 versus a 4 or 6 cylinder, and the only ones that can really line up are the RB's, 2jz's, 4g63's, etc. and even then most engines can't take on a 426 hemi without dipping into supercar specs.

Also, just to give you a little lesson on Japan, with their taxes and whatnot, the bigger your engine is, the higher your insurance. also, the older your car, the more you pay overall in everything from taxes to maintenance fees and so on. therefore, having a classic muscle car is considered quite a big benchmark of status. They still can only really dominate in 1320's, but as far as motorsports like rally, obviously wheelbase, handling, and overall mass really bite it back as a double-edged sword.

Also, i suppose you must be quite offended at my post for you to write such a defensive little post with so many exclamation points. I hope my long absence gave you enough time to relax and drink some water.

Validation and badge of honor for japanese tuning? I didn't exactly make any statement of the sort stating that it made them more praiseworthy. I'm just stating that they've taken a liking to American muscle and have been able to stay constant and faithful, as opposed to the times they tried modifying kias and hyundais, in which they abandoned that bandwagon before it even got moving.

finally, are you mixing up my post with someone else's in regards to a cobra taking a civic'fag'?

Don't worry kiddo, keep reading those magazines and trying to get into a decent college and just maybe you'll be able to have some form of valid remarks come out your mouth. Stay in school and don't street race.
