I sort of play.. I play with one hand.. I was thinking of playing with two. Whats this index or spread stuff?

Index = Two hands (Two fingers)
Spread = Two Hands (Four fingers)

It's recommended that you play Spread for jump and jump stream loaded songs though it is more difficult to master. I myself haven't completely mastered Spread. I'm always playing Index since I'm accustomed to it.

Ugh... I need harder stepcharts (Preferrably anything higher than 15 step) because I've FCed and AAAed mostly every single 14-15 step expert charts on my StepMania. These would include: Holy Orders, One More Lovely, Beyond Abilities V2, One Winged Angel, Vertex Beta (HST Version), and a few more.

step mania is awesome and funny at t same time because the funny part is its giving your fingers excercise

More or less, I can go more than 3 hours straight playing StepMania and not get tired, lol. Same goes with FFR, but I've already FCed 312 out of 400 songs on FFR so I have no songs to whore...

It's practically impossible for me to AAA on FFR since the timing is somewhat off sync.

Other than playing FFR/SM on keyboard at home, I play ITG2 at the arcade during my lunch period every school day. Currently raising my scores since I've currently passed 108 out of 113 songs.

unless you have a step pad, stepmania isnt that great. if you are going to be playing with the keyboard, i recommend o2jam instead. while stepmania only has 4 keys and is meant for ddr, o2jam has 7 keys and is meant for the keyboard

stepmania isn't that hot... it gets kinda boring after some time. and you need to keep adding songs so that you wun get bored. kinda tiring o.o

I see... any layouts in particular? or should I just do it to my own liking?

Well, you can set your hotkeys to anything when you play StepMania.

Personally, mine is set to the arrow keys (default) and number pad keys. Makes switching between Index and Spread easier.

Also have ASKL set but I rarely rely on spread alone.

i can do 12 and 13 songs but can't go higher
my friends think im a freak when they see me play
