Zero. They support each other well, though each has so many weaknesses. Whenever you see Kaname with Yuuki, it just looks like she is being undermined and twisted.

Frankly, I prefer Kaname and Yuuki's looks as a couple, but that doesn't matter in the scheme of things. Zero is really one of those "made to order" characters. You can tell already that they are balms for each other- and that their love is not as siblings.

I seriously don't get the whole "Kaname is evil" thing.

What evil has Kaname committed that Zero himself has not attempted? Anything bad that Kaname has done has been in effort of revenge.

He's trying to protect a whole way of living in harmony with humans... how is that evil? He sacrificed the last family tie he had for the sake of her safety. (I say he sacrifices it because he could have fixed this break the whole time if he wanted to be selfish)

I've still yet to see Kaname do anything I'd classify as evil, so calling him evil is a foolish claim. I'd sooner call him calculating... but that's not evil, just intelligent.

You know what is a characteristic of a villain? Killing mindlessly or for amusement. Being blindly vengeful even going as far as to kill your closest friend in order to fulfill your agenda. Constantly abusing a person, even if they are willing.

At any rate, the point I'm making is this: If Kaname is evil then so is Zero. I don't think you can honestly put them in different boats. They are both selfishly motivated for different reasons, but that doesn't make either evil. Using silly 'true love' 'destiny' quotes is not going to change that fact. They are both good, they are both evil.

They're bloody vampires! By any standards there's no such thing as a 'good' vampire. I think they are either evil or grey... Most of them being grey...
