I agree ... Min ho looks so normal as a Model that they can find anywhere ... unlike Matsumoto Jun ... he has got character shown on his face ...

I guess they pick her as makino a.k.a shan cai is because in heart of 19 she is also playing similar character as makino a.k.a shan cai. Where her lover is also a man from a wealthy family and they relationship was disapproved by his parents. Despites off all the bad mouthed, she persevered .and finally got married with the guy.

And her acting was kinda good, so I believe thats the reason they picked her for Han Yori Dango's lead actress.


Ah, I see. I've never seen that drama but I might look it up now. If she did a good job in that drama, hopefully she will do fine in this one. It's difficult to get the Makino character right because she is not always just a dramatic character. There are a lot of comic moments and if you make them over the top, she looks stupid.

Actually, Barbie Xu, who was the TW Makino is the eldest. She was 25 when she filmed Meteor Garden I.

I agree with you on that. The F4 (at least Soujiro and Akira) are supposed to be womanizers but with Kim Bum it would look a bit like child molesting. Then again, maybe the pics don't do him any justice and maybe he looks older now.

Actually just seen him in East of Eden which is still ongoing... Still feel that he looks kind of innocent & young to be a rich playboy...
