Think like this:

If we were to devide 12 apples into 2 groups, it would be 6 apples in each group.
If we were to devide 12 apples into 3 groups, it would be 4 apples in each group.

How can we possibly divide 12 apples into 0 groups?

edit: I feel like I am teaching an elementary kid

no?
It would be 12 individual apples if we divided 12 with 12

12/12=1

you are just acting stupid arent you?

I understand how you think. But sorry. Its not possible to divide by 0

If you dont understand this, then how are you going to understand that
12/0,5 = 24 (for example)

Okay look, if we divided by zero all the laws of physics would yield and the world would end.

Example: 1*0=0
2*0=0 Then this must mean that 1*0=2*0
1*0=2*0 So if we want to get rid of the zeros we must divide by zero
1*0/0=2*0/0
1=2 See why everything would spontaneously combust if this were correct??

u scaring me.. 0.5=0? not even close.. thats another number i know.. more 0 u adds, bigger will be the number...unless you classify zero as an undefined.. but you really get that rule?by common sense if you divide a dolar by 0(nothing) then youll've a dollar...

No personal threads please. Just ask your Maths teacher about this. You can't divide anything into zero.
