Click to show or hide Gintoki saved Tsukuyo and carried her bridal style. It showed at bit about Gintoki's past, I think it showed how he met his teacher. After that, Gintoki and Jiraia started fighting, with Gintoki beating the crap out of Jiraia.

I just saw it too!!! I kept watching the way he saved and carefully carried her (really not like Jiraia <_<!), for about 5 minutes (didn't want to turn to the next page), ...I wonder what they were talking about love the way Gintoki look in "really pissed off" mode we need a traslation!! faaaassst!!

From one of the pictures, it is the first time Gintoki had some aura. I dunno wad it looks like, but it do gives hints of the power of the White Demon. At least Gintoki fights better than when fighting Housen.

I think it means that Gintoki is an even bigger "spider" than Jiraia, and he's looking at Jiraia like a predator looking at it's prey. Since the whole "predator and prey" thing seems to be the only thing Jiraia keeps talking about. This could be the first time we get to see Gintoki "really" mad. Jiraia better watch out, Shiroyasha's back!

Jiraia better watch out, Shiroyasha's back! You are right about the spider aura, because Gintoki also him that he had also fallen into his web, and never let him out alive. Only thing that surprises me is that he could have a strong aura which forms almost anything he wants.

He could use a narrow space to attack the true form. As you can see how Gintoki purposely tied up his left hand with Jiraia's right, so that he could stop Jiraia's fast actions and whack him continuously. Wisdom in battle.

Exactly, Gintoki is a combat genius, like most carefree shounen protagonists. But I doubt Jiraia is finished, atleast not yet. He's supposed to be the most evil person on the planet. The fight would probably take up 2 more chapters, unless we see more flashbacks.

Maybe Jiraia is faster, but Gin is using his head this time. So I think that Gin can kick Jiraia's ass quite easily ^_^ Looks like even when he was younger he was strong (it was him who killed all those men? He seemed so innocent...) I remember that in a previous chapter Gin said: "The spider will devour us all..." I thought that maybe he was repeating someone's words... maybe his master's? Waiting for translation.

No doubt Hosen was stronger, remember that Jiraia was the one who formed the "Hundred Blooms." Meaning Hosen was already ruling over Yoshiwara then. I'm really interested in knowing more about Gintoki's past, before he met his teacher. I want to know more about his teacher too. Gintoki holds his teacher in high regard, which is why he's taking this fight with Jiraia very personal.

Little Gin-chan's in your base, killin yer d00dz. O_O I think in the Housen vs. Jiraia threat contest; Housen was mostly just really really strong. That fight was more about brute strength. Jiraia's highly skilled and extremely fast - this is a test of skill.
